Room was small, but clean and comfortable. Location seemed safe. Great view from the roof. Decent breakfast. Parking was extra charge of 50 RL even on some web sites it was indicated as included. They charge extra for in room water, soda, and snacks. Just beware.

This was a really great location about a 6 min walk right to the middle of copacabana. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Rooms could’ve been a bit cleaner but overall a really good stay. Thank you

Good stay in Copacabana”
Good value, nice rooftop bar and swimming pool. Superior rooms are clean and big enough. Well situated in Copacabana, a calm street, 5 min from the beach.

Nice Hotel ”
The hotel is well located close to the beach, stores and restaurants. The breakfast was nice. However, it’s really a 3 star hotel and on the downside, there was a slight odour coming from the bathroom that perhaps cleaning with bleach wood kill. Overall it was a pleasant experience

Modest good hotel but not four stars”
For you international standards certainly not a four star hotel. Rooms were clean, staff was nice, breakfast was okay but crammed in dark room. Most pleasant was the view from rooftop pool and bar.

Bad stay! No swimming pool towels, breakfast was the same everyday and without good quality! Standard room is too small!

BUSINESS TRAVELER MUST STAY AWAY FROM HERE”
I strongly recommend business traveler to refrain from staying at this specific property as Receptionists here were rather rude and not so helpful. They don't even try to listen what in-house guests say. They rather just cut off conversation and answer whatever they want. One of receptionist was so terrible at work. I called this property to issue me a full statement (including ironing and pressing service I used) of the invoice because I told him crystal clear that I want full statement so that I can submit it to the finance department for reimbursement. This guy answered me "Oh you should contact Agoda" Are you really serious? How on earth Agoda would know how much I spent for ironing and pressing service?

Pro's - Breakfast - Rooftop with gym, pool, sitting areas - comfortable beds - Good towels Improvements - The wifi is terrible. Only in the lobby it is decent. If you are planning to work I think they might have two computers with hardlines in the lobby. Otherwise I don't reccomend - Toaster at breakfast is so slow. This is a small thing that can be upgraded immediately - Toilet seat and lock in rooftop men's bathroom is broken - Air conditioning is too cold in the restaurant

We enjoyed our stay at Americas Copacabana. The room we were given was fairly recently renoed and comfortable in size with good cleansiness. We had included breakfast was good but most of the time

With good customer service I can overlook some shortcomings. Pros: - Comfortable Bed - Good a/c - water pressure for shower - Location - Staff and service - Good breakfast Cons - The pool was not very clean - Towels in pool area are not replinished enough

We stayed here 4 nights in a superior twin and we’re very happy. The room was clean, comfortable and we had a view of Christ the Redeemer from our window! The buffet breakfast offered a good selection and staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this place for a good midrange option

Nice but room for improvement”
Friendly but slow service. Not really up to standard. They forgot to clean my room one day. I work out and the gym is crappy, dirty and old. There is no standard for noise control in the evening and other guests are quite noisy at all hours of the morning. When my room was cleaned, I would give it a 7 out of 10. The soap dispenser did not work and I had to buy soap to shower. The lighting is poor and there were a few areas that needed to aesthetically be repaired. Given the price… It wasn’t terrible but it would not take much effort to make the experience significantly better.
