Wonderful! ”

A great hotel! A short walk to the JR Kanda station (one stop from Tokyo) and the Ginza subway line. Akihabara is a 15 minute walk and Ueno is a 30 minute walk but both are accessible by the trains, however we enjoyed walking. Wifi is great. The facilities are fantastic. There is a coin laundry on the 3rd floor and trouser presses on each floor. Family Mart across the road and a great set meal restaurant up the road. The only thing I would mention is the pillows are very thin. I am not sure if they have a pillow menu as I didn’t ask but even still it did not impact my stay. I will definitely stay with an APA Hotel again when I come back to Japan. Thank you for having us.

Great stay except for one factor”

Had a pleasant stay at the hotel however, i had issues with their water particularly in the bathroom. Temperatures are varying, it seems it can't keep a steady temps and keeps on changing which is quite hard when you're using it. With regards to the rest, service was great and place was clean. It's a 500m walk from train station so not a long walk to take.

A bit far from kanda station, not allowed to leave luggages overnight! ”

Quite far from kanda stations and any other metro stations, Hotel staffs didn't allowed us to leave our luggages with them after we have check out, even if we will come back for another 4 nights of stay, after 2 days. The staffs that we spoke to (1 female and 1 male) was very rude and strict, they keep saying that it's their hotel policy, that they can't keep our heavy luggages for 2 days after we have check out, not even overnight for 1 night..... We are really dissapointed with their service, even that their hotel slogan is 'best for the guests', which is sarcastic and sounds ridiculous to us. We won't come back for stay again in this hotel, forever.

One of the best hotel I stayed”

The staff are so friendly and nice, I can know they tried their best to serve their customer, their facilities and everything the hotel has is 10/10, highly recommended hotel for couple travelers! The journey to nearest Metro Station(Kanda Station, which has 3 lines very convenient station, easy for travelers!) it takes around 10 mins and walk to Akihabara from hotel just need 15 mins, amazing stay!

Great hotel, nice service”

This is the best hotel staff so far. I leave my go pro in my room on check out time. I was so confused , and tought that the go pro will lost. But i call to the hotel, and the cleaning service just keep my go pro. Thanks God and thanks to all the staff hotel. Your kind honesty are very appreciated . However they only can keep my go pro for a week. But then i askes my friend to took the go pro from the hotel. But this is a nice experiences from this hotel and also the japanese people. I like them 🙏🙏

Affordable and near AKIBA”

A very convenient place to me. It is near the Akihabara (Walking distance 10 mins to the hotel) Good hotel, clean and staff is friendly. However, lack of onsen is a bit dissapointment. Overall it is good!

Hotel Kanda gives me a very good experience. It takes me about 10 mins to walk from JR Kanda Station to the hotel. Even so it is easy for me to get to the hotel. There are a lot of convenience shops nearby, around 4, so I can get whatever snacks I want at night. As for the room, it is quiet, clean and neat though it is a bit small for me. After I have opened my 24-itch suitcase I have difficulty to walk to the bathroom. Yet it isn't a problem. Staff speaks fluent English which is very good. I stayed here for 7 nights and it was really good for me. I will definitely come back. If you are young travellers, it is really good for you guys.

it was a very pleasant stay, centrally located at a very low price. Hotel can fival that of a 4 start hotel. it was great value for Money, and close to the JR Kanda station(1 stop away from Tokyo Station)

Great place”

A very nice hotel, everything looks new and well maintain. Staff was friendly and accomodating although there were a little trouble in communication due to langguage barrier. Good facilities, room was clean. Great location, within walking distance (even with luggaged lugged around) from the JR station.

Cleanliness to be improved”

Pros: - Big wall mount TV - Friendly staff - Place to keep luggage after checkout, pickup back within the same day, good for late flight. Cons: - Dusty, lots of dust can be found on furnish etc, they did not wipe or clean it well, towel appear to be bit yellowish. Overall comfortable been compromise because of the dusty feeling. - Small room, bad room layout. I stayed in another APA franchise hotel at Tsukiji the other night, even though same room sizes but because of a better room layout, Tsukiji room can fit 2 of my luggage better than this APA hotel, I barely can had space for my luggage and walking space. Noted: - Location is nearby Akihabara, but takes a bit of walks roughly 15min. If u don’t mind walking then It might be a cheaper choice compare with others which located nearer. Conclude: - I will look for others hotel next time, if it is nearer to Akihabara with about that price or even willing to pay little more for nearer location or better on ro

Quick, simple, straight forward, easy place to stay”

At the last minute, we needed a place to stay. APA Hotel was the closest place from where we were at the moment, and we needed a hotel that same evening and for the following few evenings. Overall, no complaints. We're going to stay at another APA Hotel in a few days.

Fantastiskt”

Proximity to Kanda train station was very helpful. You get the Ginza Line and the JR Yamanote Line . It is one station from Tokyo station. Breakfast, included in the price, was good. Helpful breakfast staff.

1 night”

For what you get, it is good value. Decent location-20 min walk to Tokyo station. Staff very helpful and bed is comfortable. One thing I would say should change is not having to pay for the use of iron board. Was only 1,000jpy but should be complimentary to use.

Small but nice”

Walk around 10 to 15 mins from railway to the hotel, it's not bad. The staffs are so nice and their English is better than I thought. The room is clean, tidy and cozy. I feel comfortable of this hotel.

Good hotel, but not the greatest location”

A perfectly decent, run of the mill hotel. Location isn't anything to get excited about, but with the Tokyo metro system at hand, that's not a big deal. Some dust on shelves, but otherwise clean. My biggest gripe was the useless wifi. Staff was nice and service minded.

Hotel”

the hotel is far a bit from the JR line, I not recommend other to choice this hotel. you need to walk about 15min at the dark road special night time to JR line, Eat or take train to airport. If your luggage heavy or raining. the hotel is expensive special for Saturday night. other thing is ok.

Close to central Tokyo and trains”

The hotel was clean and comfortable but a bit expensive for what is available. The room was small (usual for Tokyo) and the window view was a wall of the next building. Staff were friendly and had good English skills. There is no restaurant but there are plenty within 5-10 mins walk. There is also a Family Mart across the street which is convenient. There are a couple of cafés close by which was also appreciated. What was handy were a choice of subway stations nearby that provided easy access to Tokyo, Akihabara, Shinjuku and Sumida. Despite being in Kanda there weren't that many people walking the streets outside so it doesn't feel crowded as other places. If it was a bit cheaper It would be better value for money but it served its purpose for 3 nights.

Good location, affordable price - no thrills hotel”

Tiny - and I mean TINY - room (but same for most hotels in Tokyo). Hotel offers no thrills, e.g. you only get one bottle (not each) of water if you stay 2 nights, none if only 1 night. Staff cannot speak English (but, again, this is the norm for Japan). Good location, close to trains and Akihabara/Tokyo Station areas.
