This hotel was being renovated during my stay. However, the low price made it worth the money. There was no construction from 5 PM to AM. Good enough. Clean room. Nice shower. I would stay there again.

Nice location, nearby the station. Room was clean and friendly staff. The double bed was a bit small and slightly slanting to one side. may be because the slanting side was frequently sit on by the guests. Overall, good experience and recommended to budget travelers.

Room is small and old fashion but all facilities is Ok. Staffs helpful and friendly. Good location not far from Saga station. Car park is out side hotel just cross the street and 500¥ per night parking.

I traveled a lot within Japan, big cities and small towns. Stayed in a range of biz hotels, and many APA chain hotels. This one is the most run-down and dirty hotel I ever stayed in the entire Japan. Usually there are many older hotels in smaller towns but majority are scrubbed extremely clean. This APA room smell musky with stale cigarette odor, the entire bathroom is filled with mildew (wall, doors, edges of bathtub, shower curtain rod...). The back of the vanity mirror is all black mold. The hand sink leaks, when you wash your hands, you get water on your feet. The walls are beat up. The A/C is old with no temperature control, only Low-Med-High, it is a dry warm fan. The room gets very stuffy and I cannot get the temperature below 26C which is too hot to sleep. So I have to open the window instead, but hear all the main street traffic. The hotel gets a lot of businessmen checking-in in the evening. Plenty other biz hotel options by the station.

First of all, I do not think that 3 stats of APA brand should be like this. Old style lobby with old style key to open the room, the funny thing is that you need to have key to open the room facilities. Secondly, all lights are yellow, all the bathroom, wall, refrigerator are super old that you will think you are staying at a hostel but the point is that you pay $800 for 1 night !!!!! Room everywhere is around of books and waste of space for opening the luggage. This is my 1st time that I fell I am in a ghost hotel. No recommend people to stay at this hotel as Saga not much place to go and see

Nice and clean hotel. Every Japanese hotel is quite small area but this hotel rooms have much better area than others. Breakfast is Japanese style buffet. It was so nice too. Staffs don't speak English well but it was not a problem. Very kind. I think APA brand can be trusted.
