Close, comfortable, decent breakfast”
We needed a last-minute room close to Shinagawa station and this place fit the bill. Staff was very helpful, even when we asked them to print out 16 pages of documents from five different emails (10 yen per page, same as Lawson’s copier). They have a decent breakfast buffet, both Japanese and Western. Room was clean, comfortable, and standard Tokyo Tiny but all we needed was to sleep there, so all good.

Comfy and great location for Haneda”
Has everything for a good sleep, nice modern hotel and helpful staff. Convenience store around the corner. Quiet location. Hotel is right near sengakuji station and direct line to Haneda - Only 18 mins. We stayed here because we were flying to Sapporo early in the morning. Direct train from Narita (not express) to Shinagawa and then one station to sengakuji. Would stay again.

Very nice hotel”
The location was ok as a tourist because the subway is right next door. It takes under 30 minutes to get to Shinbuya, Shinjuku, Akihabara or Tokyo Skytree. There is not much going on around the hotel at night but that meant it was quiet and peaceful. There are 24 hour corner stores and fast food places within 5 minutes walk. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Towels were changed and the bed was made everyday. I had a bright room with a great view and it had excellent blackout curtains. Great onsen on the top floor.

Really close to subway station and convenient for Haneda”
- very close to Sengakuji subway station (1 stop away from Shinagawa JR station). Use exit A2, elevator is available only from ticket office to way out, not to platform. Going up from platform to ticket has escalator, only stair for going down, but it’s a short distance, not that an issue. - convenient for Haneda Airport approx. 20 mins to commute without any train transfer - small room, no place for big luggage - public bath is clean and offer until very late at night - 24 hrs service of Nagau chain restaurant which is near to the hotel. Tasty and so convenient. - too many leaflet, ads spread out all over the room, looks a bit messy

Very close to Sengakuji Station.”
It's very convenient to stay here, it's very close to Sengakuji station. Just find the Sengakuji Temple exit, turn left, and you'll be there. Check in process was very smooth and easy. There's konbini and 24 hours fast food restaurant nearby. By fast food I mean Japanese fast food so it's much much better than western junk food like McD or else. Room is a bit small but for me room size is never a problem. On the first night here I got the view of Tokyo Tower which is very nice. Would love to come back and stay here again.

Super convenient, compact room”
I love the hotel as it is near to the train station & just 1 station away from Shinagawa where you can change to Shinkansen. There is direct train to and from Haneda airport which is so convenient if you are taking public transport.

Excellent location for Airport connections...with one downside”
It was my first time in a APA Hotel. The rooms are small but still cosy, and the AC is fairly silent. For me that was an upgrade after being a usual customer of Toyoko Inn hotels. The hotel is 1 minute away from a very convenient metro station: Sengakuji. The train can take you directly to Haneda. Narita is also quite easy to reach using the same line to Aoto and with a few changes - it's the right direction. The elevator at Exit 2 takes you to ground level. For the APA hotel turn left, for the Sengaku ji temple turn right (this is the temple where the original "47 Ronins" are buried) . It is one station or 20 minutes walk in straight line from Shinagawa, Only downside: the escalators on the station platform only go UP. If you have heavy suitcases, good luck.

Very convenient but very small room”
Pros: -Location: Literally at the doorstep of a metro station (sengakuji). Has a 24hr Japanese eatery (something like Yoshinoya) just 2 mins walk away which tasted really great. Has a convenience store within 2 mins away as well. Cons: -VERY SMALL ROOM. We hardly had any space to walk and after opening our luggage there's literally no space to walk. -Laundry room only had 2 washer and 2 dryer and there were quite a number of people queuing to use it. Overall, good hotel if you're a solo traveller that prefers convenience and don't mind a small room. Bad hotel if you, like me, travels with family who would want decent level of comfort.
