Best for a solo traveller”

The hotel itself is in good proximity to Ginza and you can walk there from Tokyo Station in about 20 minutes. The rooms are very small but extremely good value for money. I would recommend this to a solo traveller as such small rooms can be difficult for couples. But I would stay here again granted I was travelling alone or for business.

Comfortable stay”

Very comfortable stay. The hotel is 1 minute from Shintomicho station and within walking distance of Tsukiji, Ginza and Tokyo station. There is a great restaurant in the ground floor and several reasonable eating options nearby.

Great Location and Comfortable Room”

Near a variety of tranist and within walking distance of a few attractions (Ginza, Tsukiji, etc). The room was small for 'Western' standards but served it's purpose well and was cozy and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

A comfortable stay”

Located 2 mins from Shintomicho metro station near Ginza. Especially good for going to the Odaiba area. The facilities were great - Wi-Fi, hot water and heating all worked well. Just need to be careful because there's no grey area with the taps - either turned off or strongly on. The bed was great, though the pillow was a bit flat. Really appreciated being able to get a breakfast set for ¥800 each at the restaurant attached to the hotel. Overall a comfortable stay for the price.

Small clean room with proximity to Ginza”

Proximity to Ginza (and Shintomicho train station). It's a modern hotel with very clean rooms. However, note that the rooms are indeed quite small. You are unlikely to be able more than one big suitcase at a time. However, it was sufficient for my short stay in Tokyo. It's walkable to Tokyo station (at least 15-20 mins) which makes it great if you're catching the Shinkansen during the peak hours.

Small and cozy”

There are more than one APA hotels so be sure to double check which one you have reservations with. APA Shintomicho-Ekimae is roughly around 20mins walk from Tokyo station but if you can get to Shintomicho Station, it's only about 3-4mins walk to the hotel from there (Exit 1 for the elevator if you have heavy luggage). The people at the reception desk spoke little English but have your reservation voucher printed out and ready for a smooth check-in process. The room is tiny for 2 people with 2 large suitcases. It takes a bit of creative maneuvering but it's manageable. The bathroom is also small but the toiletries are complete. One issue: the air-conditioning. You can't adjust the thermostat. Going to bed, nice and cool temperature, with the blanket up to your chin and then waking up in the middle of the night becuse it was too hot is not a pleasant experience. We remedied it by simply turning off the air conditioning and opening the window (it's near the end of November so the weather is a little chilly). Would I recommend this place? Sure. Manage your expectations, do your research and you'll have a plesant and cozy stay.

Very small room; faulty shower/faucet”

Biggest plus is that the hotel is located very near a train station (Shintomicho station) so going around via the subway trains was very easy and convenient. There was also a local restaurant we discovered (place is called Nakau) just less than 200meters away from the hotel where you can get very nice japanese meals. Understand hotel rooms in Tokyo are really small but the one we got is really cramped for 2 people, we had to take turns in opening our luggages. Bathroom was ok though there was a problem in the faucet/shower knob on the room given to us. Hotel staff were very courteous though.

One adult and one 4 year old kids stayed in this room. Is very small no space for big suitcase. It is clean and close to station.

Trevligt”

Short walk to Ginza street but away from the buzz of Ginza street. Single room very clean and satisfactory. Staff most helpful to advice economical places to park my car overnight as parking is limited and expensive. Car not needed as metro and subways are very efficient and a 24hours pass only yen800.

Overall, nice place to stay”

My group stayed here for 3 nights, and generally liked the location, in-room facilities, cleanliness, and so forth. It's a relatively easy walk from the station and pretty easy to find. The staff was also very helpful when one of the party forgot an item when checking out, and made arrangements for an easy pickup later in the day. Our one gripe was the challenge in checking in--if you don't arrive during the somewhat limited front desk hours, you have to use the phone provided to call for instructions as to how to get your room key and pay the minor Kyoto hotel tax. However, we tried calling three times over 10 minutes and no one answered. We were literally about to walk off and find another place to stay when someone called the phone back and got us checked in. So I recommend if you plan on staying here, make sure you come during the posted front desk hours and save yourself any chance at aggravation. Clean and Accessible”

This hotel is a 2 minute walk from shintomicho subway exit 3 and 7 minutes walk from Hatchobori subway. But the two lines are not within the main line. You have to transfer to connect to the main lines. Tsukiji market is within walking distance. Did not try their breakfast since there are a lot of restaurants nearby. Lawson is 2 blocks away. Accomodating staff because they grant my request to have a non smoking room.

The location is okay. We booked two adjoining rooms with the expectation of there is a connecting door in between. However, after check in we only realize the adjoining means, the two rooms are located side by side. Rooms are small. But is fully equipped. Staffs are very polite.

perhaps this was cheaper because a major renovation is going on across the street, so you can hear and smell concrete destruction during business hours, maybe a air filter mask? Great service but the pillows were not that comfortable. Try to minimize luggage for the best experience.

Value for money if you could get it below USD50”

Rate is cheap during weekends, good bargain if u r on weekend holiday, cuz these city business are cheaper during weekend but quite a distance to tourist spot. Room is really small but big enough for solo traveler like me.

Service is flat. ”

The bed was really soft and the pillows were really thin. We had to ask for 4 more to pile up as a regular thickness but they only gave us 2. The hotel only gave us 2 bottles of water for 3 nights all together. Whenever we ask for something, the reception asked us to pick it up at the counter ourselves. Not going back to this hotel.

Good choice”

The place was clean, quiet, the staff was very friendly. Hotel is located 2 minutes of walk from subway station. During my 2 weeks stay there I never had any problems or reasons to complain. The manager at the desk speaks basic English. It will be enough if you will have questions or need to ask to order you a taxi raid.
