I stayed at the single room, definitely best suited for a solo traveller. If you're a couple it will be a tight squeeze, especially if you're bringing luggage. But it's definitely enough space for a solo traveller. Room was clean and neat - has your usual bath towel, hair dryer, kettle, kimono, etc, and a very helpful asakusa guide where they list recommended restaurants. Location is also great! Super easy access from the lift exit A2 from asakusa station, the hotel is only a less than 1 min walk away. And it's also about a 5-6min walk to Kuramae station, which is a less busy train line so you don't have to navigate the crazy crowds which is a huge plus after a tiring day of exploring. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a bento box, 2 choice of either Japanese or western. I always chose the Japanese one which is delicious and heavy enough to sustain my energy until lunch. Overall will definitely choose to stay here again if I have the opportunity to visit tokyo again.

The best experience, good location and just amazing! ”
I only have good things to said about this hotel. Asakusa Hotel Hatago was one of my best finds in my last trip to Japan. I think that is the type of hotel where you want to keep going back after you stayed there. Everyone on the staff was so nice and just excellent. The location is so good. Definitely returning next time I go back to Japan. I’m so thankful to all of the people working there that made my stay amazing. Thank you so much!!!

The hotel was close to the Asakusa station. It was very near to the Asakusa shrine as well as the Nakamise street. The room was very clean. I enjoyed my stay here. The staff here was very friendly as well.

Great location - few minutes walking distance to Asakusa station as well as Sensoji Temple, the room & bathroom are clean and the hotel come with superb delicious japanese style breakfast :)

Minimalist Compact Rooms”
Location is great and value of money is good. The breakfast choices were yummy, not sure though if you will stay longer. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Speak english well. Although rooms are compact, it was comfortable enough and the yukata options were a sweet touch. The view is superb and the closeness to Sensoji Temple and metro makes it a perfect stay.

The room was tiny(!) but very clean and serviceable. We had a lovely stay here and would return again if the opportunity arose.

For us, the rate is quite expensive. Even though it's quite expensive, the hotel location is very near to Asakusa Station in Asakusa Line - Lift Exit 2A (or 2B I forgot), walk about less than 5 minutes after out of the lift and the room is very clean (Tatami Style) and quite spacious. Also, the service includes room cleaning every day and breakfast (bento which menu changes every day and beverages like water/tea/coffee/orange juice). Even they can't serve halal food for us but they tried their best to serve the food that we can eat. Thank you for your understanding. There is no iron in the room (you may ask the front desk but I'm too lazy to ask for that every time I need it) and no microwave at the lounge (a place where we have breakfast at 9/Floor). And you can go up to the rooftop to enjoy the beauty of the city of the night and Tokyo Skytree. Overall, the hotel provides a very good service for us. Sure, I'll stay again at Asakusa Hotel Hatago. Thank you. ^0^

nice clean boutique hotel. tatami flooring. take note that room and toilet size may be of a concern to some but this is the japanese standard of efficient use of space. locations is super excellent. a few minutes walk to subway. 10 mins walk to sensoji. u can view the skytree tower and river from the lounge. supermarket and convenience store nearby.

One of my favourite places I stayed”
The room was small yet cozy, It was my favourite place to stay of all the accommodations I stayed at while in Tokyo, the hotel staff were kind and hospitable. The included breakfasts were delicious. Room was tidy, bed was comfy. Only thing to make it perfect would have been a little more space or somewhere to put my checked suitcase.

The hotel was in a great location: walking distance from Senso-ji Temple and markets. The hotel itself was clean and the staff helpful and friendly. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. Compared to some of the other places we stayed at, Asakusa Hatago Hotel was great value for our money.

Amazing hotel location”
Its near basically what u need. A convenience store, restaurants and train stations. The staffs were really friendly too! The room was also equipped with an air humidifier during my stay in a dry cold weather.

Hotel location is near Asakusa metro. Room is clean and comfortable but it’s small. For one person is fine. Look forward to come back once again.

Modern Japanese style Hotel”
That is a great hotel. Staff is good, location is good. Near to Asakusa station with only 2 mins walk from hotel! The breakfast is nice, and the room is considered big compared to other hotel I stay in Tokyo! Definitely will choose this hotel in my future Tokyo trip

Location is great. The hotel is near subway and also close to Azakusa Shrine. And the room has tatami floor and decorate as japan style. Breakfast is also delicious and have a great view to see Sumida river and sky tower.
