Bra vistelse det man möjligtvis saknade var separata ansikts handdukar samt matta i toaletten då golvet blev halt när man duschat.

Pros. Great hotel not too far from the Thai Visa Embassy. You could walk it in 20 minutes but depending how hot it is! 5 minutes walk from the bus station. We booked the suit which was huge. Beautiful and clean. A few restaurants and bars nearby. Cons. Had a leak coming from kitchen sink in the room and safe wouldn't work properly. Gave up in the end. Breakfast was average but a young lad had an attitude problem. He didn't want to do anything apart from play on his phone and eat. When I asked for another cup of tea he didn't rinse the cup or even throw away what was left. So I got a dirty looking cup of water with a teabag. He didn't like it when I asked him for a new cup of hot water for my teabag! The other staff in there were lovely.

I arrived at the wrong Avalon had booked sister hotel and had been on a bus for 10 hours , hungry tired , new to the country and they accommodated me transfer everything over, breakfast was included. Warm very friendly staff. Location great from the bus station and Embassy access to sister hotel pool. I couldn’t have asked for anything better. Great experience!!!

I book one night as i was getting a new visa for Thailand, as my visa was issued on the same day i did not need the hotel, the staff were very friendly and kindly refunded the prepaid amount for the booking, i will defiantly book again when i need another visa

Central , tuk tuks available, 10 minutes from a lot of sightseeing venues. Loved the coffee , fruit, bacon , eggs & baguette for breakfast.

Comfortable hotel for visa trip”
This budget hotel is located in a convenient location, not far from the bus station and 10-15 minutes walk to the Thai Embassy. The room is clean and nice size. There is small confusion regarding the room I booked but I managed to get the room I wanted and skip the breakfast which was fine to me. For the room next to the lift, you may hear the sound of the lift when it's operating but if you are tired/a deep sleeper, it should not be a problem.

Convenient for bus station”
I actually stayed in Avalon Resudence2 which is a new property and only open for 2 weeks. Everything is new. There is a small Swimming pool and children’s play area adjacent to off road parking. I arrived late (22:00) and was able to check in (paying cash but I did not have enough KIp but they would accept Thai baht. I went out to find a local restaurant/bar but on return all gats to the hotel entrance were locked. I had to knock on the window for the night porter to let me in. There was a good choice of 6 breakfast types which was then freshly made. The hotel was a 200m walk to bus station. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Close to Thai consulate for a visa run, a bit of a walk or a tuk tuk to the main part of town. Wifi was decent and the rooms are big and clean.

Thai Consulate Visitor”
The Avalon is clean and runs efficiently. I also found the staff to be very helpful and spoke enough English. The only negative was the bathroom floor. Even after letting it dry, after it was wet mopped by housekeeping, the floor would sponge out water from underneath the floor tiles. I really didn't like that. Luckily, I was on my own and was given 2 large bath towels, one of which I used on the floor. If you like a firm bed, I do, then you'll love the beds at Avalon. I walked at my two hip replacement gate to the Thai Consulate in 20 minutes.

Nice Place - Wrong Room”
I've stayed at Avalon 3 times, and like the rooms in the main building because the have a balcony. On a previous trip they gave me a room in the annex, and to be hones they are a little gloomy, no balcony, just a shuttered window. Anyway this time I booked a room with a balcony, and requested a smoking room. But once again they gave me a room in the annex. So overall disappointed despite the friendly staff and general cleanliness.
