No private toilette, no shower, dirti room. But the restaurant was super the place amazing the view incredible nice staff, good price food. Beautiful treck from pokhara.

Relaxing after dusty Kathmandu”

The view of the mountains is just amazing, specially in the morning time. It is a cool place just for relaxing after durty Kathmandu. The rooms could be cleaner. The location is quite good, but everytime to go to the city need to pay 20 usd for round trip. And no matter what, still one of the best place to stay in Sarangkot.

Amazing Place in Earth...!! ”

I decide my trip base on this Location, had a good time with Friendly Staff. this is not a normal place, don't expect 5 Star facilities in there but you can feel the place more than 5 Star facilities, i'll be there again definitely. Note. You can buy your meals and Drinks from there its not a just logging place its good Restaurant, try there foods and Drinks in there amazing outdoor restaurant.

Very nice view. Best place for relaxation”

This is a very unique hotel, it use tradional way to make it a fairy tale world. Cleanliness is not up to modern standard, however due to limited infrastructure at sarongkot area. This is acceptable. The best part of this hotel is to enjoy a morning or afternoon tea at their open air cafe, right in front of fish tale. Away from congested group tourists, enjoy your spectacular private view. Highly recommended.

A great location”

The Lodge is in a fantastic location, about 500 metres from the Sarankot Sunrise Lookout. It had its own magic viewing of the Annapurna Ranges. The facilities were comfortable but pretty basic with shared bathroom/showers. This was the only downside as the shared toilet is also used by any visitors to the Lodge including day trippers, etc. The food was pretty good, prices reasonable and staff were pretty friendly. No where else to go here except to enjoy the scenery, have a nice drink in the outside sitting area and soak it all up.

Charming people made our stay here extraordinary”

We stayed here for 2 nights end of September and it was exactly what we needed after coming from busy Kathmandu. It is quite a ride up to Sarangkot for a taxi driver, but we were then given the most excellent view one could ask for. The mud houses were charming and just fitted awesome into the serene scenery. There is not much to do around the lodge, so we mostly relaxed and chilled i our sunbeds or the hammock. I need to give special praise to the owner and our (dancing) chef who made us feel welcome from the first minute and who treated us very well and became good friends. We would stay here anytime again.

Perfect paradise in Sarangkot”

This has been one of the highlights of my trip to Nepal. It was monsoon season when I came (August) but as the staff said, I am a lucky guy. I was able to have a peak of the Annapurna and Machapuchre from this spot. If you love taking pictures away from the crowd, this is a perfect spot and there are really great views on this area. Fortunately I was alone when I checked in. Lucky right? There was a shared toilet and bath but everything was clean and organized. The cafe was beautiful and relaxing with the beautiful view of the mountains. The cafe itself is already a very nice spot to relax. The owner, Lolit was very nice and he even invited me on his restaurant at lake side, Silk Road bar and resto where had a great time too. Definitely this is probably the best spot in Sarangkot. I didnt have to go to sarangkot view point which is just few walks away. Kanncha and Bishal, the staff on the lodge was very friendly and we shared a lot of stories while having my Gorkha beer. At night, they played the guitar and sang for me, the only guest. :) ***Bring some rechargeable lamp for power interruptions.

Nice private view of the mountains”

The staff and the mountain view was the highlight. Downside was that there were only 2 toilets (1 for shower) which were located outside and shared among all guests. There was no hot water shower when we got there as there is a leakage to the gas for the shower which should be fixed but the staff were kind enough to boil water for us. The room was basic and even soft talks can be heard from the room next door. There is only 1 family room which is separated from the other rooms and guests would be lucky to stay in this room.

Rustic room with a tremendous view!”

We found this to be one of our favorite rooms while in Nepal. We loved the more traditional home style and the view of the mountains is simply perfect. Despite the fuel shortage challenges, the staff worked tirelessly to help those there. This hotel is simply a gem!

The location is very beautiful with an amazing Annapurna background. Bhanjyang has got 4 cottages but only one share bathroom. Staffs are also nice especially the owner! But Bhanjyang needs to improve in quality of room such as the cleanliness. Anyway, we had a very good time during our stay because there was only our group at that time. So we got a perfect service and private Mt. Machapuchare veiw!

Best view ever”

Even upon check in facility is not ready.As we book 3 month ahead Hotel owner explain for us that only 3 of us will stay in hotel tonight as they didn't accept any booking due to some water problem. Somehow they try to serve us at best, they carry water from down the hill and bring food to cook for us even thing was slow but your can know that they do thier best to ensure that we enjoy our and it's does.Breakfast and dinner is not included but you can order and price is acceptable. Dish look simply but tasty. Here is the most beautiful view during our stay in Nepal and we wake up and see fish tail Mt. just right in front and have breakfast with himalayan range view. Room facility is not at best but their service mind can make our stay at best. It's totaly worth my sigle dollar spending here.

Not for everyone”

It was exactly as expected . Interestingly different experience ,unique, spartan accomodation in a superbly quite location, offering tremendous views . A great place for relaxing and exploring ,but not for anyone who requires creature comforts. It was really cold and negotiating a wooden ladder down from the room to visit the outside toilet building was a little challenging ! We stayed 2 nights and ,being easy-going had lots of fun....any longer though would have been a struggle. Frankie ,who is cook ,caretaker and all things in-between ,speaks very good English ,is very helpful and is a real character ! All in all, we had a lot of fun up in Sarangkot and have lots of great photos to take back with us .

Good view, but...”

There were 4 rooms in the lodge. We were the only guests during our stay since it was raining season. Share bathroom with hot shower. Good stay. A little reminder if you like to check the taxi fare (or any price enquiry)!!!!!!!!!!! (VERY IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!!) We asked the supervisor to check the taxi fare for us on our departure. After few minutes, the supervisor came back to us with a taxi driver. The taxi driver offered us 1500 rupees. We found it was a little bit expensive, so we decided to walk. Later on, the supervisor came and told us the taxi driver reduce the fare to 1200 rupees, but we told him that we decided to walk. Unfortunately, there were maybe communication problem or language barrier happen among us, the taxi driver said we need to pay 300 rupees as the taxi stay outside of the lodge, even we do not want to take it. We were surprised on the charges and of course, we refused to pay it. But the supervisor and the taxi driver said they would call the police if we refuse to pay the charge!!!! We felt so weird on this point, and hope everyone do not check the taxi fare if you have not decided to take taxi!!! fyi, taxi fare from the lodge to Pokhara: Low season : 1000 - 1200 rupees High season: 1500 rupees - 1800 rupees

The hotel is built by the owner and his father. Incredible views and atmosphere. Food is great.

Cosy, rustic and traditional Nepali Style”

Bhanjyang Village Lodge is one of the best places we stayed in Nepal. We were delighted to have found such a gem. I stayed in the single room hut, my daughter and her husband had an upstairs room in the bigger lodge. This is not a hotel in the conventional sense. Rather it is a chance to experience something different. The buildings are new, but built in the traditional old Nepali style with stone walls with mud(?) render inside and dirt floors. Toilets/showers are outside in a separate hut. It's rather like glamping. My double bed was surprisingly comfortable (given that usually beds in Nepal holtels hard as rocks.) We ate delicious food (Menu was similar usual mix of internaltional and Nepali food sitting outside next to a blazing firepit. The views of the Annapurna are stunning, especially at dawn and sunset from the Lodge's own hilltop viewing platform. The village is a five minute walk from Sarangkot. Taxis can get here, but they need a little persuading! Great place to stay!
