Good enough for a short stay, be prepared to walk a lot of stairs!”
The place is adequate enough, with Wifi, AC, fan, TV and basic things inside the washroom. My only problem is that in order to check-in you have to go up in a long staircase, and then when you get your key, go down, and go inside the actual hotel and climb up another long staircase. You need to consider this especially if you have big luggage, in my case, I had a small luggage and struggled a little bit. Apart from that, everything is good.

Not my 1st Time”
So after using this hotel 3 times I must say it is okay for the price. Staff are very polite and helpful despite the 2001 steps they have to climb and the hotel being spread amongst various buildings. This stay I paid for a balcony room which I got, however the heating and hot water were not working. This meant we had to be relocated to another room in another building. A bit annoying to have to come out unto the streets after the curfew started and to climb 4 flights of stairs to get to the room. The room was however very nice and we enjoyed our stay. They need to definitely work on the facilities. Something as simple as a shower head can be bought cheaply from Action and enhance the showering experience in the rooms.

Reached at nearly 12 midnight, shocked that had to climb 3 story stairs (may be this is Dutch style). Room quite okay, but location is marvelous which very near to Westermarkt tram station.

Booked a room with twin beds but got the room on attic with a standard bed with very limited space to move. The stairs are so steep and very hard narrow that you can’t place a step properly.

Is a small hotel, but was not the problem the problem was the bed and mattres, in the bed they dont put a mattres they put a part of an old sofa as mattres and above a little pad. no confortable.

Dear Guest, We mentioned in the hotel description that there are narrow and steep stairs. The rooms are accessible via stairs only and we do not have an elevator. Please read hotel description and facilities before you book the room otherwise you will be always surprised and not happy.

is the second time that i go to this hotel and because i didn’t have many options really… the first time i thought could be just causality or some mistake but this second time same thing they must to close and clean all the hotel to open again all the place is full of that walking over your skyn and u take with you when you leave skyn red marks long time to leave and u must ti make a treatment before u come to home otherwise u will bring them to home and wash your clothes 90 degrees to kill all of that is horrible and upset

Dirty, stuffy and inconvenient with no toilet inside the room ”
I needed to change rooms during my stay. The first room has no toilet inside, which was not mentioned at all for the booking. The second room has no window and was very stuffy with smoke from next room kept coming in. Horrible experience!!

Dear Guest, it is sad that you did not enjoy your stay at our property. You made the reservation for single room with external private facilities . The property is completely non-smoking and in cade someone will try to brake the rules fire alarm get off.

Even the smallest hotel in Bangkok is better than this one. Very small room, small bed, TV not working, window doesn't open, everything warn down. The bathroom is NOT attached to the room. You have to walk down to reach it, it's very old and small. This place is not worth 10 euros

It ruins our Honeymoon!”
First of all don't let the photos fool you! The room can fit only 1 bed, 1 bedsideTable, no more space for you to put your belongings (no luggage stand, only 3 hooks on the wall, no closet, no chair!) - We stay on 3rd floor, no elevator, & stairs is very very steep & narrow - so dangerous! My foot is size 6.5US and the stair step is not even deep enough to fit my whole feet - Impolite receptionists - No towels in room, we have to go to the reception on another building to ask for it - Only 1 power socket in the bedroom - No AC nor safety box - Bathroom has nothing but 2 roll of toilet paper (no shower curtain) - Only 1 VERY dim light in the bedroom This is the first time that I'm so disappointed with the booking! It doesn't deserve even 1 star! This has ruined my honeymoon! We stayed only 1 night (we booked for 4 nights) then moved to NH Collection which is so much nicer! No refund from this awful hotel. Agoda can't help! This is such a nightmare! Very disappointed!

Dear guest, Sorry that you overestimated your expectations. You booked small double room at our property. The room size, the picture of the narrow and steep stairs are published on the web and are visible before reservation was made. We never published that elevetor is available . 2 towels are provided per person in each room. The bathroom has free toiletries. We do not have any stars and NH Collection hotels have at least 4 stars. That’s why it is not correct to compare these two properties.

The people at the front desk are very kind and they are likely to help you as much as they can. HOWEVER! If you are a long-time traveler who has big luggages, do not dare think about this option. When you first look for that hotel, you will not be able to find it since there are no door that looks normal front door. You would have to go to another entrance indicating N27, which is a front desk looking after all the other hotels as well. After you open that narrow door, you would be surprised with the hideous stairs in front of you. You will understand why I do not recommend this hotel for those with luggages. It is steeper than anyone could imagine. In the room, the shower booth is very small with water pressure so low. Surprisingly, there are refrigerator but it doesn’t seem to work that well ( it gets hotter in the refrigerator after several hours) Well, the people are nice, it is only 20 minutes from the central station and the big supermarkets are near you, you could always consider this as an option but to be honest, you WILL be surprised with the stairs..

This is a great lil hotel. Please be advised there are stairs...steep stairs, but hey its a great workout after all the delicious food Amsterdam has to offer. There is a nice balcony that looks out onto the street. perfect to chill and have a nice drink. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. The staff were nice and helpful.

The hotel is located in the city center, very close to Dam Square and therefore well connected to all public transport. The downside is that it is on the second floor which is accessed by a very narrow, steep staircase with very small steps; this makes access difficult with large suitcases and is impossible for older people
