Jose my butler ”
Jose was amazing. When I first arrived it wasn't so great but after I changed rooms and requested Jose as my butler it was truly amazing. We are coming back in August just to have Jose. I learned about how amazing he was in a Facebook group he is highly recommended he didn't disappoint. He made restaurant reservations decorated my room for my birthday. He was literally at my Beck and call. He is the epitomy of what amazing service is about. Thank you breathless. Please believe all the hype and then some. Food drinks top quality. Entertainment was spectacular!!!! See you in August!!!

Great Adult Hotel with walking distance to sister resorts”
Great hotel and staff. The xhale club upgrade wasn't worth it though. Food was blah. Bring your own liquor if you have a preference for mid or top shelf. I would go back again for the adult atmosphere.

As a traveler to the DR for many years, I am often disappointed the value for my money sometimes with different resorts I’ve stayed at. This is my second time here in three month span and I cannot wait to come back again at Christmas. Emilio, my Concierge, is top notch and very dedicated to ensuring that you have the type of trip you desire and deserve. Food is fantastic the staff is amazing and I cannot wait to come “home“.

Christmas REIMAGINED”
In my 20 years of (extensive) Carribean travel to many different all inclusive resorts, this is the first time in the history of forever, that I have actually said, I will definitely be back. From the moment we arrived, our butler, Emilio made sure that our every need was attended to, even the ones we didn't know we had! The grounds are spotless and beautiful. The staff is "MAGNIFICO" and couldn't be more of a pleasure to be around. The pools are pristine and abundant and best of all... the food is truly 5 star cuisine, which is rare for a resort. This was my first trip with my son being an adult traveller and I can not wait to do it again next year. I absolutely loved this resort and the whole experience was second to none. We stayed in an ocean front Jr. Suite in the Xhale club level and it was worth every penny. Next year, I intend to upgrade even further to an ocean front suite. I absolutely can not wait to get back!

I stayed in the tropical view double room. Upon arrival, one of the beds had hair all over the sheets and pillow cases. Housekeeping came and put fresh linen on the beds. There were other occasions where they did not clean the room even after I called several times to request and put the cleaning sign on the door. The mini bar was not replenished daily. We both were celebrating our birthdays and we were told that they would do something special for us and that never happened. Everyday someone said they would do something and it never happened. I told them not to worry because I knew it was all fluff. The food is ok even as an Xhale Member. I recommend taking the short work next door to Now Onyx to eat. The food there is so much better. Carnival restaurant is pretty good. The ice cream shop is also good. If you like to party and don’t mind a little noise, then Breathless is your place. If I go back, I would stay at Secrets. Overall, the staff were accommodating and I enjoyed.

Great All Inclusive, room for improvement”
If you have never been to an all inclusive before, this is an amazing place. You will sure have fun with your friends. The parties and facilities will more than satisfy you. Now, having been to One before in Cancun, I couldnt help but compare some things: 1. Staff training: many times they will be too nervous to talk to you, hang up the phone and not really engage. 2. Food: when you pick a specific restaurant, food is truly amazing, like the AUthentic French one they have. Now the general buffet...a lot of reused food from yesterday (i got a spoiled sandwich I could feel the mold), many things not labeled and confusing, you never know which to pick, and service is poor and slow. No menus in the common bars and areas, so if you saw a cool drink somewhere, good luck recreating it. They dont label their drink dispensers either. 3. Facilities: not enough seating around the pool area, and service by the pool is only for drinks and very scarce.
