The hotel is located on the seafront and our decision about its choice was first of all based on the fact that it is presented with a sea view. Plus spacious, renovated rooms with great design. But de facto, the renovated wing - the sidepiece and has no view of the sea. In particular, the view from our rooms went out to the ring of the tram and bus lines.

Lost shirt in the hotel room”
I stayed in this hotel for a whole week to attend a meeting. On Wensday morning, I left a white shirt on the bed, when I came back in the evening, I found it was missing. I told the reception maybe it was taken away accidentally by the cleaner when changing the sheet. The reception told me they would check with the cleaning company and get it back in Thursday or next Thursday and let me know. But no one contacted me after this. When I checked out on Sunday, I asked them again about my shirt, they told me they would recheck and I should leave my phone number with them. Now almost three weeks past, I got no phone call or message from them at all. I am so disappinted with this hotel, and since I wore that shirt and took it off on Tuesday after coming back to hotel, I am 100% sure it was lost within the hotel room. The way the hotel handlled this issue or I should say not handlled the issue, shows no respect of its guest at all.

I booked deluex room for higher floor 2 ago. I arrived at Hotel Lobby at 8am, I know the check time is 1pm. So I go out for sightseeing. When I returned to Hotel at 12pm, the staff said I need to wait until 1pm. But I found many people check in with the room key to upstairs. I wait until 12:40pm, I talk to the same receptionist, she give me a room key is 1/F. It’s totally difference of my prefer room type. So I request down grade the room type, she rejected me. She said this is the problem of Agoda. She can’t help even they have available room at low season. Do you think it’s worth $130 Euro a night with breakfast.

I'd stayed here several times before, each booking driven by my previous experience, however, this time something was missing. Sure the Dutch friendliness & hospitality was still there but this time it seemed soul-less, as if some corporate directive (tick-box management) was over-riding everything. The last time I came across a similar feeling was when the staff were in dispute with the management and it really did drag the stay down.

Es gibt kaum etwas besseres als morgens auf den Balkon zu treten und auf die See zu schauen. Das ging. Ich war angenehm überrascht, dass der sog.seitlche Meerblick tasächlich mehr war als eine Ahnung ,wo das Meer sein könnte, sondern einen schönen Panoramablick vom Balkon geboten hat. Alles andere war für mich ok, aber nebensächlich. Der Strand liegt dann auch direkt vor der Tür. Alles gut. Ich habe p.p durch ein bisschen Recherche das Doppelzimmer für knapp hundert Euro bekommen. Das war es in jedem Fall wert. Sehr gerne wieder.

Abschluss eines Kurztrips”
Wir sind als Paar für eine Nacht im Hotel gewesen. Die Lage, das Personal, Hygiene und Sauberkeit waren alle absolut top. Man konnte hier und da kleine Verschleißerscheinungen an Türen und im Bad sehen, aber das war alles kein Grund um dich zu ärgern. Der Ausblick aufs Meer und dass viele Bars und Sehenswürdigkeiten in Fussreichweite waren, macht das Hotel für uns zur Empfehlung. Sollten wir wieder nach Den Haag reisen, buchen wir sicher wieder hier!

Super Lage , aber ...”
Wir hatten wegen es einen runden Geburtstag erstmal das Carlton gebucht. Der besondere Anlass ist leider nicht - trotz Vorabstimmung - so umgesetzt worden. Im Nachlauf hat es dann geklappt . Die Zimmer sind zur Seeseite mit einem unvergleichlich schönen Seeblick ausgestattet und Balkon. Ein spektakulärer Sonnenuntergang ist inklusive. Aber : Das Hotel ist ziemlich abgewohnt , die Zimmer sind für unseren Geschmack sehr klein inklusive Minibad. Die Sauberkeit war sehr gut. Die Fahrstühle sind zu Stosszeiten überlastet . Abschließend würden wir alternative Hotel - Möglichkeiten zukünftig eher nutzen.

Fantastische Lage direkt am Strand”
Lage, Lage, Lage! TOP! Ansonsten gibt es nicht viel zu sagen. Ordentliches, sauberes, aber schon sehr in die Jahre gekommenes Mittelklassehotel. 4 Sterne? Vergiss es! Zum angebotenen Preis kommt noch eine Kurtaxe (City Tax) hinzu, die bei uns zwei pro Nacht 6,80 € betrug und eine teure Parkgebühr von 25 € pro Nacht.

Trotz des oft ungemütlichen Wetters haben wir auch geschützt im warmen Zimmer den grandiosen Blick auf das Meer und bequem per Straßenbahn die Museumsbesuche in Den Haag genießen können!

Prijs is duur maar het is een heerlijke kamer en direct aan het strand. Voor andere hotels aan het strand betaal je hetzelfde. Ik zat wel aan de kant van Zwarte Pad waardoor je ook de tram etc hoorde (niet alleen de zee ...dat kan denk ik ook niet in het drukke Scheveningen). Direct ook bij tram/bus/toeristentram. Voor €25 pd parkeren (van te voren reserveren) onder hotel. Toeristenbelasting €10 pd.

Prima Hotel ”
Enige minpunt: kamers zijn heel gehorig. Tot laat harde muziek van buiten en in de ochtend schoonmakers die veel lawaai maken en radio op de kar hard hadden aanstaan. Dit terwijl de baby lag te slapen en hierdoor wakker werd. Bediening, ligging, en ontbijt waren prima!
