Ja, direkt vid check in så fick vi fel rum så vi fick gå ner och byta rum som var mycket sämre. En stor tjock tv från 1990 med sämsta bild. Ingen kyl i rummet. Ingen bastu/sauna i hela hotellet...?!? 4 stjärnor men till och med vatten i rummet kostar pengar. Sista dagen där utchekningen är kl 11 blev vi väckta av städpersonalen kl 9!!! trots att vi hade ”stör ej” lappen på dörren. Personalen i receptionen och köket var jättetrevlig. Frukost var också ganska bra med mycket att välja mellan. Skulle inte åka ditt igen finns bättre för dem pengarna...

Interesting choice with possibilities”
First of all, think of what you want from Berlin. If you are mainly in the Eastern part, it is only 20 minutes per tram to Alexanderplatz and 20 min. to Simon-Dach-Kiez to another direction, so very good for that, and the trams run frequently. It is also a pretty nice walk towards Frankfurter Allee. Personnel was really nice - all points to them! Breakfast was really really good, wide choice of anything you would desire. With the newspaper that was my every day fun for about an hour at time ;) as I was on holiday with no rush! The only thing I was hoping for more, are the beds- it was okay, but could be a bit better in softness as this was a bit rough. Maybe these are the renovation-goal - hopefully at least! I loved the atmosphere in the room, nice pics from DDR and some of the east-flair. Very convenient. Will probably be back here!

Nice room, clean, everything works, stuff coming and cleaning everything every morning regardless if we need it or not. The hair dryer was not working, and it was fixed right away. The breakfast was exceptionaly good, with all kinds of different stuff for everyone's taste.

The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. But unfortunately, I booked a room with a standard bed, and when I received the room, it turned out that the bed was double, and when speaking to the staff, I was surprised that they said there are no rooms with a standard bed. My husband and I cannot sleep on a double bed and we have not found a solution to this problem. I accepted the room that the employee gave me but I am very upset.

The room was nice, new and clean. A big double room with a good internet WiFi connection. Breakfast is rich. The hotel is well connected with Alexanderplatz: use metro number 6

For a single person, it was good value for money. Big room and very nice staff! Fitness room: only a few machines, no sauna as a picture shows. Curtains in the room had stains and a small fridge would be nice. A bit noisy even when i was on the 8th floor and someone opened the door to vacuum in the morning while i was still in the room! Thank God I had my door chain on, or else the cleaner would have seen me with my underwear.

Hotel czysty, dobre śniadanie lecz szkoda że codziennie ten sam zestaw( bez małych zmian,)”
Ogólnie było ok., miły i pomocny personel, szkoda ze tylko dla dwójki dorosłych i dziecka (pomimo prośby i zapisu w uwagach), dostaliśmy złączone dwie jedynki. Śniadania dobre, lecz jajecznica robiona z gotowych mieszanych jajek( niejadalna jak dla nas) i jajko na miękko jest prawie jak na twardo. POLECAM jak najbardziej

The name of the hotel was written as Grand City Hotel. and CITY HOTEL BERLIN is only written in small signage on the door qhich you will not notice! We didn't know that it was also part of Holiday Inn.

A bit remote location, at least 20 minutes by tram from Alexanderplatz. Nothing special if you ask me, although I didn't hate it either. I only chose it because it was cheap and it didn't disappoint me. It was clean and the room was nice.

Ganske udemærket hotel. Lad jer ikke tage fejl af førstehåndsindtryk udefra Landsbergerallee. God service, rengøring og restauranten serverer rigtig god morgenmads buffet med et stort udvalg. Værelset levede fuldt ud op til billederne herfra. Eneste minus... hotellet bruges også til skoleklasser på tur, og de larmer !! Quite excellent hotel. Do not be mistaken by first-hand impressions from outside Landsbergerallee. Good service, cleaning and the restaurant serves a really good breakfast buffet with a large selection. The room fully lived up to the pictures from here. Only minus ... the hotel is also used for school classes on tour and they are noisy !!

Budget friendly ”
Very spacious and clean rooms that are super budget friendly. The tram line is about a 3 minute walk away which is really handy for commuting into central Berlin. The air-conditioning was broken in the building during our stay however we weren't notified of this. The cleaners attempted to enter our room on two occasions even though there was a do not disturb sign on the door. We were also made pay the city tax twice even though it was included in the price I paid during booking. The staff were nice when we raised these concerns to them however they just apologized for the inconvenience.

One thing the hotel room misses is”
a fridge in the hotel room. I don't know if it is caused by or specific to my order in the hotel. But being without a fridge is really inconvenient!!! Otherwise, it is a very good hotel with the price!!!

Unfortunately, from a technical and constructional point of view, this option does not exist. However, if you wish, a few drinks could be cooled for you by our service.
