Great place for value”
Value for money and great for value highly recommended. Our hot water stopped working and they resolved it by giving us another room but decided to just use the bathroom since we were leaving the next day. So over all excellent service and good value.

Crystal Gardens Resort in Cairns-my home not that far away from home!”
I love staying here! As a local of Cairns I find it's a very affordable getaway from the everyday grind without having to leave the city. It's a small resort, slightly rundown but always neat, clean and comfortable. The large pool in the centre of the resort is always sparkling clean and lovely to swim in (and it's open 24hrs!!-as long as your quiet and respectful!), and the sauna is great! The staff are always extremely friendly and accommodating. I love that breakfast is included with your stay-very tasty! Can't wait to go back.

We checked in late and the staff kindly left our keys out in a lock box and sent us an after hours check in message. We unfortunately locked ourselves out in the early morning and a staff member was able to promptly come from offsite to let us in. Fantastic customer service that was much appreciated. The room was clean and comfortable and the pool nice.

We arrived, collected from the airport and taken to the hotel. The staff Stefanie have been helpful, friendly and informative, rooms good size with comfy beds and very clean.Would definitely recommend this motel to anyone visiting Cairns.

Hiking and Walker start point”
The property like many in Cairns are Old. This one is Looked after by the Owners Very Well. They will go out of there way to Assist. Botanical gardens is a nice gentle walk along Lily Creek. The swimming pool is Well maintained and fantastic after a long day out exploring

Great room, perfect size. The location was good probably a 25 minute walk to the main strip where the night markets are. The breakfast was a bit cold but nice little spread. Overall lovely stay and great value for money.

Staff is great and super friendly! Nice sized room and nice facilities with laundry, a gym and pool. Only downside is a long walk into the main part of town, but otherwise is close to the airport!

This motel is really cheap and affordable. The cost included breakfast which was basic buffet, the room was clean but needing updating. The gardens are in need of good clean up and pruning so that you can see the building. But if you just want some where to sleep on a budget this is the place for you

No service after hours”
I arrived early evening after reception was closed. Located my key in the key box but the room allocated was not suitable so I tried calling the duty clerk to arrange a different room but the after hours number did not answer for almost 30 minutes I was standing around calling, hungry and tired. Eventually got a room change but no dinner as the restaurant that i had been looking forward to having dinner in was closed. Thumbs down.

Well the stuff were great but the room needs a big shower head as it was hard for me to have a shower. They need more them 1 washing machine for there tenants

Good enough for a one night stay. Property does need a refurbishment. Until then, they they can take note of things like the stains on the curtains and making sure the fixtures are as clean as possible.

Room 211 had no cover on the electrical light on the ceiling in a wet room and electrical wires could be viewed. Spider webs were very noticeable. Room was grubby. One positive is that they were able to get the wifi sorted.

OLD RUN DOWN PLACE”
I didn't see any staff during our 2 night stay. The office was always locked up. There was no shuttle bus or breakfast.

Not what I expected ”
The hotel was very below average. I was really disappointed and the photos do net really reflect how rundown the property was. I won’t come back even though the staff was really nice
