Hotel is located very near Shimbashi station with underground access at B2 to Ginza line which we use on rainy days during our stays. The concierge and reception are very polite and proactive. They helped us with our luggages and strollers until door step of our room while we just tend to our 3 small children. We travelled to Japan frequent and always courier boxes of shopping goods as our luggages won't fit. Surprisingly hotel (cloak counter) provide boxes (at a small fee) and also able to bring down our heavy boxes,weigh and check for the costs and arrange courier pick up after we paid the cost. It is extremely convenient as in the past we have to carry the heavy boxes to post office ourselves with our kids. This service is extremely useful for us and we will definitely stay at Daiichi hotel again on our next visit for this exceptional service and convenience. And the staff are also very accomodating and understanding towards our children. Overall stay was extremely satisfying.

Decent accommodation with great service ”
It was excellent to stay in Dai-Ichi Hotel Tokyo for my wife’s birthday. They have all great staffs providing multiple languages support and wonderful services upon our check-in, thoughtful floor guiding until make sure we are fully satisfied upon check-out. The contactless room key could also be used in elevator to touch and go directly and only to the floor you stay which amazed my son and make us feel very safe. The room facilities are impressive. Nice view of Tokyo tower, spacious and fully equipped bathroom, lovely birthday gift and greeting massage, clean room,etc. Not mention great location of underpass directly to Shinbashi station and walking distance to Ginza. Overall, My family and I enjoyed every moment of in Dai-Ichi Hotel Tokyo and I will strongly recommended to my friends !

Excellent Hotel near Ginza”
The hotel is within walking distance to the central Ginza shopping district. The Shimbashi metro station is also near by. The hotel room is spacious and clean. The staffs were attentive and pleasant. We had stayed at this hotel the past three times we visited Tokyo and definitely will come back.

I travel a lot therefore i do have some experiences about hotels. This hotel is super considerate to its guests. Super convenient and thoughtful. The only shortness is the noise from the train nearby which is not easy to avoid unless they willing to change the window to be highly sound insulation window.

Due to our earlier good experience we decided to extend our stay until we depart from Tokyo instead of shifting to another hotel. And we have no regrets with our decision when the reception informed we do not need to check out and check in again or change rooms due to our extension. Flexible policies with understanding accomodating team. We will be back.

A quiet place to stay”
If you stay on the other side of the railway, the room is quiet and it has amazing city view including the tower. Some really good restaurants around this area, a nice BBQ bar is oppsite the road, 10 minuts' walk to Midori Sushi Ginza.

Great location. The staff are the best among all the ppl we met in Tokyo. Speaks great English too. We were offered a baby cot upon arrival. Best part is limousine bus from Narita airport comes direct to the hotel. Staff came to help with luggage upon arrival which really helps with us having a running toddler. Many eatery around the area. Not crowded and reasonable pricing. Walking distance to Ginza and dondonki (24hrs).

My first time staying at Shimbashi area & I really love the location! The major rail lines are within 1min walk from hotel and there are a lot of eateries in the neighborhood. Ginza is also a 10min walk away. We stayed at the Quadruple Junior Suite and it’s comfortable enough for a family of 6 pax! There’s a sitting area, a dressing area and even a small kitchen area which is handy as we have milk bottles to wash. The Quadruple Junior Suite is on the premier floor which is highly recommended as the club lounge serves drinks and the well-stocked mini bar snacks and drinks are all complimentary! They also provide L’occitane toiletries. You get to choose either Jap or Western breakfast and you can choose to take it either at the restaurants or in your room which is a bonus as we like to laze around in the room. However, there isn’t much of a variety ie the Jap /Western breakfast serves the same dishes everyday.

Daiichi Hotel is exactly what we are looking for in Tokyo ! Direct limobus from Narita to the hotel, the check in is streamlined with Japanese hospitality. The room is spacious 400sqft, with fascinating view over the train station, both in the morning and the night! The amenities are beyond exception, the location is unbeatable - 5 min walk to Shimbashi station and 5 min walk to Ginza district. We have been traveling the world with kids, Daiichi is definitely on the top of our list !

Told the hotel check in that it was my husbands birthday and she said they don’t have cakes, but she did surprise us with a box of cookies and a card! C.Lee. Sweet girl who works really long hours! Room is very comfy and I love the location. There’s a shortcut to the station from B2. Who would have thought? It’s wonderful. Room is understandably old and bathroom had some mould at the sink area and the bath turn knobs. However, I was surprised that the room was dusty at the side tables and tv console. The room should be dusted before a check in. My young boys (3, 6) loved the room and felt comfortable staying here, and watching the trains go by.

If you want to have a base for Tokyo excursion, this is one of the best locations. The room is specious for Japanese standard, the staff was very respectful and detail oriented. I didn’t spend enough time (stayed only 1 night) that I’m not familiar with the entire facilities such as gym, pool, etc. There are quite a bit of restaurants in the hotel and surrounding area. Highly recommended!
