very clean, convenient, great amenities, laundry system, able to check status of laundry on TV. My wife was highly impress with everything and the shower curtain doesn’t smell. great hotel

Clean and modern hotel at a super great price”
Room is larger than expected, clean and the bathroom was also very spacious. Staff were helpful though they don't speak very good English, but they did recommend us good restaurants nearby with the help of a map. To arrive at the hotel from the train station, there is actually a circuit bus line which only costs you 100 yen per ride. You may also walk over, but we were here in August and a 15-min walk with suitcases under the scorching sun was quite tough, so finding out about the bus at the Tourist Information Centre was the greatest thing that happened to us. This hotel is also a few minutes walk away from the restaurants and bars area, so you will definitely find good food till midnight in that part of the city.

Nice big room. Akita is not very big. The hotel is a bit of distance from Akita JR station. You want try to walk it but there are a few buses that goes to across the street from the hotel. Just 3 stops. City is walkable so this hotel is quite Central. Great staff. Big clean rooms. Breakfast was good too

A hotel nearby the drinking areas”
The hotel is a bit of a walk from Akita station but it is near kuwabara, the drinking district of Akita city. The hotel is good for it's price. However, the building is quite old so it is quite different from the recent Daiwa Roynet Hotels

Nice hotel close to main attractions”
The hotel is not so close to the JR station, but the attractions are quite close to it. There is a restaurant just next to it, although it is convenient, the service is not very good.

Warm and comfortable stay”
Clean and warm rooms with professional and hospitable staff. Location is a 16-minute walk to the Akita train station on foot, but easily accessible via bus. There is a bus stop right in front of the entrance and plenty of buses available heading to Akita station. Would recommend especially well heated rooms during cold wintry days.

A little far from the station, but close to the historic area where you can find and eat in a atmospheric restaurant. Bus stop in front of the hotel and you can go to the station for 5 minutes.

Everything with this price is fair. The hotel room is clean and bed is so comfortable so I was able to sleep well.

Great hotel somewhat near Akita Station”
Good points about hotel: 1. Allow late check-in (we checked in at 11pm). But it’s best to let hotel knows in advance. 2. Plethora option of breakfast 3. Clean room with complete amenities (include hair dryer n iron board in the room) 4. Spacious room (for Japan’s hotel room standard) 5. Has restaurant in the hotel itself. Not that great point: 1. Need 15-20mins walk from Akita station. However, have option to take cab with 800-900 yen/trip from Akita station to hotel 2. Reception couldn’t speak English well

Hotel is quite old despite some renovation done. Location is bit far from the railway station at a quiet vicinity. Good service from the staff helps to make my stay better .

Lovely big rooms - but I must comment On their honesty as I had realised that I had left my iPad behind. Their online support was exemplary as they managed to keep in touch with me whilst I was in the train. I returned that evening to collect my iPad. Thank you so much. Something worth remembering ! Staff had very limited English, but enough to accommodate. The issue we had was that they seemed dismissive to the things we asked for, like concierge services. On two occasions we asked for assistance with restaurants and reservations and we had minimal help each time.

though far away from JR station, around 15 mins walking distance, the airport shuttle bus stop just at the entrance of the hotel. also, 2 tour sites and many restaurants are located near the hotel.
