Amazing stay in paradise”
We were impressed by the management of the resort and the level of customer orientation. It is a three star property, not luxurious but we did not miss anything that is really important. We had bungalows 10-15 metres from the beach with a breathtaking views. You can walk around the whole island barefeet and the nice vegetation is forming natural shadow. We saw that the outside areas & the bungalows are cleaned daily. Bed linen & towels are changed also daily. We were able to enjoy coffee & tea in the rooms with the provided facilities. Food was varied with a lot of options each day - sallad, soup, fish, pasta, other meats, chillies. Each second day there was a barbecue. The desserts were the best we have ever tasted! Congratulations for the chief! Our arrival, departure & stay on the island were organised in an excellent way, we were taken really good care. This is not always the case even with properties that have 4 or 5 stars. Thanks to the management & the staff for making us feel welcomed. All our questions/requests were properly addressed. As for the island itself- it is really a treasure with all the natural settings that it has and which are well maintained. We can only recommend the resort.

It is a 3 stars resort with minimum 4 stars amenities. Beautiful clean beaches, very comfortable rooms, extraordinary kitchen and amazing staff. Rooms were cleaned every day and every beach room has very easy acces to the beach ( 10 m ). Chef was amazing, he was cooking our favourite food every day and was very careful at every detail. Waiters were extremely friendly and very well trained. As we spent our vacation during Covid time, we felt very safe, staff non stop wearing mask and desinfection at the highest level. They made us a very sweet surprise as i had my birthday during this period. They were so careful, that they even put candles on the cake. They offer a lot of excursions. It is an amazing place for snorkeling: a lot of baby sharks, turtles and all kind of fishes that you can ever imagine. Island has a lot of secluded beaches which offer a lot of privacy, it is very green, you feel like you are in a jungle. Transfer was extremely cheap comparing to other resorts. Overall, we would highly recommend to everyone this unbelievable experience and for sure we will be back. P.S : The best Indian food in our life 😍.

The resort is perfect for a family with an infant. Everything is nearby. The island is incredibly beautiful, peaceful, and well-maintained. It might be a 3-star resort but service is beyond 5 stars! Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are simple but you will find everything you need, even a fridge. The only downside (which is subjective) are the hard bed mattresses. The staff cleans the rooms every day and bathroom towels are also changed daily. You are also given beach towels which can be changed upon request. We booked full board and we upgraded to all inclusive when we arrived because we didn’t want to bother when having a drink or two. The food buffet was amazing! Many options for every taste - fresh and cooked veggies, meat, fish. The bar is a very pleasant place to spend the hours after dinner or to watch the sunset from the beach deck. It was our first time visiting the Maldives and we would definitely return to this place and would recommend it to all our friends.

We had an amazing 16 days stay at Embudu. We never felt bored or home sick for a minute. The resort is very well maintained ,hygienic and all the services are Superb. The food was absolutely fantastic and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The resort offers everything from Scuba diving to snorkeling, fishing and sports like Badminton, tennis,dart,football. The fishes around the island are beautiful and there are amazing corals not to deep in the sea. The Diving school staff is very helpful and friendly. The restaurant bar staff were extremely friendly. The restaurant manager is very humble and helpful he used to ask us everytime if we need anything, if the food is good. We were offered free Pcr test since we stayed for 16 nights and they didn't charge us for return airport transfer as well. Overall stay was amazing and we will surely come again.

14 amazing days in Embudu ”
We've just arrived to the Paradise! Cosy island with beatiful nature, just 25 minutes by speedboat from Male. We had a great bungalow - a lot of space for two of us! - with seeview. Housekeeping is perfect! Two bottles of water for free, every day. We were happy they gave us the water in glass bottles instead of PET. Great effort to protect the nature, what is not typical on the Maldives. We loved the original nature, lots of palmtrees and flowers. We always found a nice place at the beach (2 seconds from our bungalow) where we had our privacy. Mr. Rasheed helped us a lot with his flexibility. We enjoyed the welcome drink after arriving, wifi is perfect and it's free. Nice selection of food and drinks, a lot of options for vegetarians, different salads, indian, vegetarian food! Meat and fish eaters had their favorites at the buffet and enjoyed the barbeque several times a week. The divecenter had a fantastic offer, if you buy the package of 6 days nonlimit dives, they extend with another 6days package! We wish to come back!

We spent our honeymoon in Embudu Village in March. The staff was very friendly, meals , beverages have various and delicious. We really like the dinner, especially the sweets :) They are made from fresh ingredients. We also enjoyed the main bar, cocktails were also delicious. Rooms are cleaned every day, staff has been payed attention to the safety stay, really appreciate for it. The house reef is beautiful with lots of fish, sharks, stingrays, it is worth to have a snorkel trip around the island. Special thanks for the all effort and the unforgettable vacation in Maldives! We are already miss this place :)

We can't stop talking about Embudu and whole Maldives experience. Embudu is only 30 min away with Speadboat from main Male Island which makes it very convenient and not expensive to get to (75$). It's the most peaceful place we had ever visited. You will see people only on dinner and wonder where are all this people during the day, that's because there is so many beaches on island where u will have a feeling u are alone on the whole island. Staff is brilliant, happy people who are always willing to help. Food was amazing, dinner is always different, from Italian night to Asian night... Water is so clear, it's full of sharks (baby ones) stingrays and many many different fishes which are friendly and you can snorkel all day and never get tired <3 We will be back for sure. Amazing !!

We finishen our trip at Embudu - after 2 visits at local Islands - and it was a wunderfull finish. We chose full board - the extras for lunch was so little, so we were pleased with 3 appointments a day at the restaurant. The food selektion and quality was high. The Room worked fine - new and spacy! The staff went a long way to provide good service. The island is small but plenty of space for everybody - both in the restaurant and the beach. We went snorkling every day - we saw a lot of reef fish - sharks etc. The arrange tours to manta point - do go at the start of you stay - the mantas are not present every day - due to current! Its worth to mention that the dive center cancelled the trip to se mantas, if the current was wrong - serves them credit.

Lots of greenery, great beach, beautiful lagoon, excellent food, very well furnished room, professional staff. I didn't find anything to complain about. On the contrary - our plane was late in the evening and the hotel allowed us to stay after check-out, even giving us another room. They didn't have to do that, but they did it for us and that makes us very happy. Everything was great! Thank you for everything!

I highly recommend Embudu Village as it’s budget friendly, it’s 20 minutes by fast boat from airport, and has a lovely house reef. This resort is all inclusive of meals only (drinks not included, except for the free liter of water daily). It is a simple accommodation. There are no TVs in the rooms and there are some limits to the water sports other than scuba and snorkeling, swimming near the beach, and kayaking. Many of the guests come from German speaking countries so be prepared to brush up on the language. Of course everyone speaks English for the most part, so no worries there.There are a ton of fish here. I saw baby reef blacktip sharks as well as full grown ones. In the reef you will find eels, stingrays, sharks, octopus, a huge variety of fish, recovering coral, and more. It is an older resort but extremely well-maintained. DIVERLAND EMBUDU @ Embudu Village Wow! What a great experience for a first time diver. I went from scuba curious to getting my Open water certification.

Hello, We stayed here for 5 days and i must say this hotel is more than 3 star which they claim..the service here is nothing less than a 4 or 5 star property.the staff at the restaurant will make u feel really comfortable..special mention to Vishnu and the restaurant manager.. The staff at the bar is also very helpfull and polite.The food is diffrent every single day and every single meal...he location is amazing as well.we spotted baby sharks and sting rays almost every day of our trip. All n All an amazing stay and a must visit place .Cheerss!!!!

Embudu is a very nice resort,close to Male just a 20 min boattrip which save you a lot of money in transfer.The housereef is bleached but still a lot of fish and baby reef sharks everywhere. Superior room highly recommended. In some placed reviews i read you have to get up early to lay your beachtowel on a sunbed but the resort was fully booked and this was not the case as there are plenty of beds.Excellent wifi on the whole island free of charge.The staff is very friendly and proffesional. Only comment is about table sharing with other guest this we did not appreciat,you are forced to communicate with people who do not even speak proper english.Advice for Embudu;more 2 person tables in the restaurant. We loved the place in general. It was well located for easy access from Male, but far enough to have a decent coral reef and abundant sea life. The room was comfortable and clean, although quite basic. But for the price, it offered great value. And the food was top notch, offering a lot of variety. The one thing which I found shocking though is that there isn't a first aid kit anywhere on the island. We know because we needed it twice. I ended up with an open wound on my arm for 2 days, and my gf was limping with a bunch of sea urchin needles in her foot. So, take your own first aid kit, and you will have an awesome holiday.
