Very nice hotel near everything”
The hotel is very nice and like the pictures. The internal structure is a little old, but nothing that bothers. The reception was very kind made by a brazillian guy. The pool is nice a beautiful view to the sea and also the restaurant. We had a very good time with drinks on it! The staff is very kind and helpful. At the beggining I was a little afraid about the reservation made by Agoda because it was my first time using it but there was no problem with it..Everthing worked fine!

Stayed many times, buffet breakfast is still very good, although no mushrooms anymore ! Still plenty of choice and always will accommodate any requests within reason.

Holiday in Malta”
Arrived just before midnight, very friendly reception, lovely room overlooking the harbour, the hotel is on the sea side of the road with its restaurant right on the harbours edge, great quiet location with more good restaurants nearby, bus stop within 100yds of hotel takes you to the local bus terminal (you can walk there in 25 mins) from which you can travel everywhere for just euro 1.50 per bus ride, we liked everything about this hotel and would certainly come here again.

airco is the main complained. very noisy and impossible to turn of because 1 floor is on only 1 unit connected. it annoyed the hell out of me. main reason i would not sleep there again. also the restaurant should call themselves pubfood, i had dinner there on my arrival, but that was a 1st and a last. in my opion a restaurant should themselves one when the food is deepfried, carlic bread without the carlic, the delivered garlicbutter (for the non garlicbread) has no garlic in there either. ... the waiter apoligised with the comment, i'm sri sir, it's just one of those days. (wasn't his fault, and i don't blame him). overall the staff is friendly and helpfull

Renovation during the season”
First of all, the location like Malta has months were there are only few tourists. So I really do not understand, why the renovation is still going on when the peak season starts. The hotel has a good location, awesome stuff, but the condition of the room I have had was really low. I mean, I had almost everything I needed. But I would make tiles and plaster better myself. The stains on the recessed ceiling. And in the bathroom the same. Very unwell done conditions. The other thing was for example shower. It was mounted only on the wall, no hand shower. Hair drier was broken, worked but tube was getting out. There was no place to put toothbrush or creams, no shelf. And no good light! Maybe they thought to make me feel pretty by do not seeing all the details on my face :) But I have weaker vision, I need good light to see at least something without glasses. To stay positive. The stuff was really nice and helpful. Whole hotel was clean and pool too. Good food and awesome views!!!!

Fantastic November days in Bugibba”
We spent a fantastic five days in the Gillieru Harbour Hotel. The Location is incredible, with direct connection to the sea, in addition the hotel has its own swimming pool on the second floor with fantastic panoramic view to the harbour. The breakfast is plentiful, and the staff was extremely kind and helpful. I hope we can return back soon to Gillieru Harbour Hotel, and can recommend to anybody who'd liket o visit Malta. The room was very small and there were no opportunities for an upgrade. The bathroom was updated and larger. The beds consisted of two singles pushed together. The cupboard was narrow, so limited number of clothes could fit on the hangers. Limited room to open suitcases beside the beds and move around the beds. There was no wifi in the room. Pluses include the outdoor pool (unheated), large pool area and large number of lounges for guests, bar, restaurant, and snack bar were terrific as was the location of the hotel.

Good friendly Hotel in a quiet location”
The hotel is located in a quiet location a short walk away from the centre of Bugibba. It has a good sea front location with a view over the harbour. The swimming pool is located on the roof of the restaurant and is a good size with a nice view. The breakfast has a good, if limited, choice and there is plenty of space. So there is no time wasted hunting for somewhere to sit. The hotel staff were friendly and our room was clean and spacious. The beds were rather firm for our liking and were two singles pushed together rather than a double. Our main criticism would be car parking. The hotel was advertised as having free self parking on site. This is all true, but the car park was tiny and shared with the hotel restaurant, which was open to the public. Of the 5 nights we stayed I only managed to get into the car park on two occasions. The the other three nights were spent cruising around the local streets trying to hunt down a parking space. On Saturday night it took around 15 minutes.

Not getting what promised ”
The location is good if you don’t want to be in the middle of everything. Good area to swim in the ocean. About a 20 minute walk to the main town . No internet in rooms. No coffee facilities in rooms. No laundry facilities. The breakfast was ok. Pretty standard. The rooms on the 1st floor are very small. The windows don’t lock. They charge for safety deposit box.

were given a lovely although small room which had a balcony overlooking the sea. room was clean and hotel is small and blissfully quiet.

Pro - direkt am Hafen von Bugibba gelegen - tolle Aussicht auf dem Pool Deck - sehr sauber - super nettes Personal - helfen auch beim Buchen von Ausflügen, ohne preislichen Aufschlag - ausreichend Busstationen und Busse in der Nähe, um die Insel zu erkunden - generell super-Preis Leistungs Verhältnis Contra - Frühstück war ok, könnte aber vielfältiger sein. Mehr Aufschnitt wäre toll, nicht nur eine Käse Sorte - Ich fand es nervig, dass man zum Einstellen der Klimaanlage immer aufstehen musste, weil es keine mobile Fernbedienung gab. - Schade, dass die Dachterrasse geschlossen war - sehr schade, dass das Pool Deck eingeschränkte Nutzungszeiten hatte. Der ist ja eh nicht beaufsichtigt, da hab ich nicht verstanden, warum die Zeiten eingeschränkt sind. Ich hatte dennoch einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt und würde wiederkommen!
