Great”

This hotel offered excellent value for the date I happen to book. Rooms were tiny but cheaper than the rest on Agoda search. It turned out to be a pleasant stay. The Ginza Moegi has way bigger rooms but at way higher prices as we stayed there as well. The Akane is just a smaller size, less newer version of the Moegi sister hotel right next door, but still quite adequate and comfortable if you don't mind small spaces. The bathroom still looks very new and spotless although small. It served it's purpose as a 1 night stay with a convenient grocery store about 1 to 2 blocks away near Denny's. The only thing I don't like is that the kettle once used takes 20 min to cool down to reuse. But still better than no kettle provided. Staff that spoke English was very pleasant and friendly. They also have a free shuttle to the Tokyo station upon reserving at 6:30 am. I would stay at this place again due to convenient location and if pricing is as competitive as when I last booked.

They have a shuttle to Tokyo station in the morning which is helpful especially when you are about to go to the airport.

good location(Ginza/Tsukiji), reasonable price, satisfactory hotel service and facilities”

-2 minutes walk to 2 metro stations, 10 minutes walk to Ginza and the 'old' fish market(5 minutes walk), just next to the convenient store and a traditional Japanese restaurant that opens during breakfast, lunch and dinner hours(breaks in between), lunch with drink and salad buffet. -Basically have everything I expected from a hotel, cleaning service, slippers, free toiletries, free tea, TV and the desk... -The room size is kinda the standard size of the hotels in Japan. -International staff, not only the front desk but also the cleaning and catering department. They have staff that can speak Chinese(Mandarin, I didn't test the Cantonese part), English and Japanese. All the staff that I have talked to are very friendly and helpful. fine if checked out half hour late. -They sell souvenirs beside the front desk, with both traditional Japanese snacks and westernized ones, and the Tokyo Olympic games souvenirs. A good selection, great for people that do not have time to shop.

Friendly staff. Hotel is located near to the Tsukiji metro station (Exit 3 is the nearest exit but not lift, Exit 1 & 2 have lift). A short distance to Tsukiji Market. Size of room is adequate for 2 persons + 2 small luggage. Acceptable cleanliness. When we check out, friendly staff allow us store our baggage on their premises(free of charge). Value for money.

Hotel located in quiet area. There are minimart nearby. Near subway station and it is easy to catch a train to famous place in Tokyo. Can walk to tsukiji fish market in the morning. Room is small but still comfortable for us as they already provided everything we need.

Expectations met!”

Excellent! Polite staff. Very close to Shintomicho and Tsukiji subway stations and a JR station is about a 10-minute walk for those using a JR pass. We arrived at the hotel at 8am and they kept our luggage for free until the 3pm check-in time. We were also able to save a couple hundred yens since we availed of their free shuttle service to tokyo station and just took the access narita bus from there. The only thing I’d recommend is for them not to advertise free wifi since the connection is sooo slow bordering to no connection at all. Not that we needed one because we rented our own pocket wifi from GAC but other guests who need wifi might be misled with this free wifi advertisement.

It’s a very great experience staying in this hotel as you are surrounding by metro stations and most importantly you are not far away from the Tsukiji market as you probably can spend your every morning exploring different foods in Tsukiji market

Well priced stay in Ginza”

Great value about 15 mins walk from Ginza main shopping district. A few restaurants nearby. Lawsons convenience store downstairs, very handy for quick eats. Fish markets less than 10 mins walk. Free bus to Tokyo Station but last one at 9.40am which we missed while having breakfast. Two choices breakfast, Japanese which we did not try, and western which was ok but nothing gluten free and very limited vegetarian so not worth it for those on dietary restrictions. Overall good value stay in Ginza if you don't mind a 10 to 30 minute walk to get around to popular areas.

so bad never come again is my bad luck stay there , old hotel that mean not hotel like hostel , bad smell sfaff not polite , i book 1 room 2 adult and 1 child and reciption ask me to book one more room , i say ok i pay but she refuse and not flixibel , dont stay there will be regret

Good location”

The residence is located near Tsukiji station, you can walk only 7 minutes to Tsukiji Market and 3 minutes to Tsukiji station which is Ginza line(Hibiya line). The room is quite narrow but not surprise because of this is the center of Tokyo. Staff are good and facilities are also good. Near the hotel is Lawson and Family Mart.

The Hotel in Tokyo with the Worst Staff”

After a tiring long flight, we arrived in this hotel quite late in the night. But no one ever greeted us and when it was our time to be entertained for the check-in process, the lady was so rude and not even smiling. Our room was already paid for and when he saw that we were with our two kids, one is 5 and the other is 1 she said that she cannot let us check in and stay because we have two kids with us. I have explained to her that the website states that the room can accommodate two kids below 5 years old for free. It was only when a male colleague of hers intervened that we were given a key. This was after 30 minutes of waiting and talking with that "bad-childhood" reception lady. I will not choose this hotel ever again. There are other pleasant hotels out there in Tokyo.

The room for triple sharing is quite small. Cannot open a cabin size luggage fully on the floor too. Generally, most staff are friendly and polite. The location is conveniently located to a subway station (exit 4). But to access to lift, you will need to exit by (exit 1) a short walking distance away. Breakfast not too bad. This hotel seems popular with Chinese tourists as some instructions are available in Mandarin. There is lawson just outside the hotel.

what a nice hotel”

l took the subway to the nearby station ---tsukiji .After l up to the ground ,l saw the signboard of these hotel.The hotel servicer were very friendly,and courtesy.They English said very well,so that l check-in was no handicap.They even used a hotel map to told me where l room was,and where is the emergency-exit,also the room was very clean, the drawback is the room size was a little small,but according to the price and so on,l think it is worth to live there.

Clean friendly, close to Ginza area either walking or underground. Good breakfast Japanese or western. Good dining rooms in all 3 locations for lunch or dinner. Numerous small restaurants within walking distance. Rooms are small but so is the price compared to larger hotel chains. We have used this hotel previously and it is ideal for tourists, for short periods such as 5 or 6 days. Linen and rooms are changed daily.

Good option in the city”

I only stayed 1 night, but location was very convenient for Tokyo station. Rooms are usual for Tokyo (that means small). If you have heavy luggage - better leave it in the lockers in Tokyo station as nearest subway has Long stairway and no escalators. Although name contains word Ginza, this hotel is not near Ginza so don’t expect any fancy shopping. In fact I arrived after 8 pm on a Saturday evening and didn’t see even any working restaurants around. I left quite yearly on Sunday , so didn’t get to explore the area
