Hotel is dated, and showing it But staff are great and place is clean, breakfast definitely adequate but not excessive. stay backside as noisy on Rd side and dogs noisy at night... would stay again as is a good value for cost.

Had stayed for 2 nights with family in deluxe room Very comfy rooms with cozy beds, top cleaniless, daily housekeeping, fast room service. Only 2 small bottles allocated per day rest are charged should be atleast 3 litres as I was with family but housekeeping they suggest me to have unlimited water if I will get jar water indeed that was fine thanks. Should be airport free pick up for the cost I payed for 2 days. Overall stay was perfect with free parking for my car Breakfast was worthful as it was buffet had varieties choices in breakfast also I can have special request food and service manager was perfect asking feedback while doing customer service even guest were very less at my time. Good job grand hotel

amenities were closed and bathroom had small roaches but was not bad for the great price which included breakfast which was buffet when groups appeared. Hard when covid still around and people aren't travelling. Hot water and heat in room, great things in February to make room comfortable and stayable.

Hotel is fine, nicely located and I got a great price. It pretty clean and managed but slightly dated. Biggest issue was the unacceptable rave that was happening in the restaurant making it noisy throughout. It’s a hotel not nightclub

Where should I begin? Our non-smoking room reeked of cigarettes. The first night, the toilet wouldn't stop flushing for 10 minutes, and later in our stay – after it had just been used – the toilet would not flush at all. The hotel initially would only give me one 12 hour Internet voucher a day, and I had to argue to get 24 hour Internet access for two people for the duration of our stay. The power went out when we were in the elevator, and we got stuck between floors, and someone had to wrench the doors open and have us jump out onto a chair. I stayed here for over a week, and they serve the same bland breakfast items every day. Water from the faucet was yellow, and there was no shower curtain, so water sprayed everywhere. As is typical for Nepal, the electricity was intermittent, and 23% was added to everything we spent at the hotel. The worst aspect was the incredibly slow Internet. It was sometimes unusably slow.. There are no shops, businesses, or landmarks nearby.

I thought value was ok.rooms were clean and staff friendly. I recommend string here for a short time while visiting kathmandu? The location wasn't great for shopping or eTing but with taXi no worries.

Stay at Grand Hotel Kathmandu”
Stay was comfortable at last. Changed room twice as heating system was not working. Staff was friendly, polite and prompt to act. Most of the staff was good. The biggest problem was no receipt of accommodation details provided by hotel staff. It was told that they dont have any information regarding issuing receipt which is otherwise unthinkable. Even after retrieving booking details and providing all information no receipt on hotel letterhead was provided which is definitely problematic.
