The best thing about the GPH is it is located at the center of the two biggest shopping malls in Guam (Micronesia mall and GPO), and near the Duty Free Shop and The plaza (a walk from the hotel). There are two near bus stops also for the Red Guahan trolley and the yellow bus. It is really easy to go to and from the shopping and food centers with these attributes. Staffs are accommodating, too, and special mention to Esther and Aki. Esther was quick to receive us when we got to the hotel from the airport and to guide us going around Guam. Aki, on the other hand, did all she can to compensate the problem we encountered. The water in the bathroom was difficult to control and often times water was very hot. They tried to do something about it and Aki offered us some relief in several forms (extra complimentary water, two $10 discount vouchers at Denny's, etc.). The hotel is quite outdated but clean. Elevators and AC are working. Internet connection in the room is slow, though.

PROS: Value for money for budget conscious travellers. Convenient location-main road, close to bus stop,restaurants,walking distance to Tumon beach and shopping area.Average room size but comfortable and clean. Can request for interconnecting rooms if family room is not available.With free coffee coupons to be claimed at ABC convenience store G/F. With microwave and kettle in room. Pleasant staff. CONS: Aircon was not functioning properly and room can get warm. WIFI has intermittent connection/keeps on disconnecting.Poor sound proofing.TV channels were few/TV not programmed. No bedroom slippers and toothbrush provided. Free Bottled water/coffee given on first day only.Cups not washed and replaced everyday. Overall experience was pleasant. We’ll book again if given a chance.

Good for the Price but could be Better”
Stayed here for 2 nights with my 6 year old son and here is my review: The Good: The staff, especially Natalia, was very accomodating and helpful to my needs. You can see that they are doing their best to make the guest feel comfortable in the hotel. The location, given the price, is perfect. It is near bus stops, some restaurants, and some interesting places. There is also a convenience store nearby. The Bad: The hotel is a bit old and you can notice this with the smell in the bathrooms and the room. The cable TV has very few watchable channels (only 1 movie channel & no kids channel) and the aircon although cold, can be a bit tricky to control (it gets too cold sometimes). There is also no bidet in their bathrooms which in this day and age, should be standard already. All in all, if you only want to spend around $80 more or less per night in a hotel in the Tumon area, this is your best bet but if you have a bit of extra in your budget, there might be some better options.

If your looking for a Great deal on a hotel stay definently one of the top 5. Smack in the heart of tumon, Guams Very own tourist spots. Your'e surrounded by a variety of restaurants, bars & amazing retail shops. The hotel over all is good, thw staff is amazing as well. But if you are looking for peace an quiet this might not be the place.

Its a nice hotel, very good location walking distance to the beach. The regular hotel rooms are as depicted in the pictures. There are a few penthouses, one is miserable and the other is gorgeous.

Budget hotel with nice staff”
The Stay was pleasant esp with the Help Fil staff in the hotel. There were issues during our stay but were addressed by the staff right away. Nearby there is ABC mart and Burger King. The beach is just a few meters away.

The hotel staff was wonderful and the location to the beach was great, however, the cleaning staff was part-time, and my room was only cleaned 1 time. The hotel looked like it was going thru a remodel because work in the rooms was unfinished.

I enjoyed my 1st trip to guam! Walking distance going to the beach, across is the police station, abc store on the ground floor, nearby resturants and tumon plaza. Clean room, good AC!

This hotel is pretty okay, but the smoke alarm kept giving off a screechy sound every 2 minutes. It was also really hot and there was no way to control the thermostat.

Kind staff but facilities too poor. Leaked water flew out to outdoor of the bath room.
