Good on budget ”

We were on a budget and this place was fine. It was not our favourite hotel but it was clean and safe. The food was ok. The kitchen seemed clean and lots of effort to provide hot meals with lots of options. I have a dairy allergy and had some challenges getting clear information on what was in dishes so I found a few basic items and stuck with them. Breakfast buffet was mediocre. Our room was on the 4th floor with no elevator. They were very helpful with bags. In our room we didn’t get the bed configuration we agreed to. I think if we’d pushed it they would have sorted it for us as they were very accommodating. In the end, one child slept on a sofa that was turned into a bed. He didn’t love it but not enough to complain. Because the sofa was turned into a bed, we didn’t have a sofa but we just used our beds when we were all hanging out in the room. The wifi was challenging at times, but we could do the basics, with interruptions. In the end, we stayed at the Green Mountain to suit our budget, which it did and it was safe and clean.

my first room was rather noisy, but i was moved to a quieter room the 2nd night. great morning breakfast, friendly staff. not a luxo- resort, but not bad for the $

Enjoyed our overnight stay after safari”

Good location just outside the arusha city centre. Secured entry gate to car park and hotel building. Spacious and clean 3 beds room with AC and fan. WiFi was good. Room rate included breakfast. The hotel restaurant has various menu options, so you do not need to go out of hotel for dinner if you only stay overnight before or after your safari. We had dinner there. We ordered fish, chicken and vegetarian menu options, which all are delicious. Staffs were friendly and helpful. They offered us late check out to 12 noon. The hotel has swimming pool.

Small room but food were nice”

I booked a standard room and I found it was quite small. The bathroom looked old and I think some upgrading need to be done. The water splashed out from the bathroom (through bottom of the door) when I was taking shower even I closed the bathroom door. End up I had to ask the cleaner to mop/dry the floor. Anyway, the food in the restaurant were nice.

A good Option”

We had a one night stay here in Dec. 2017. Our rooms were simple but clean. Breakfast was sufficient. Our stay was quite short so we didn't have much time to explore the neighbouring area. I would consider staying here again if I was in Arusha for a short time.

Good hotel”

Rooms are big and new. Even flat TV although mine didn't work. Great pool. Friendly staff. Only downside: they don't sell beer in the restaurant.

Diamond in the rough”

At Green Mountain the staff is like a family. They work together and bend over backwards to help their guests. If they don't have something, they will get it for you with a smile. The manager, Tony, is always available and genuinely interested in your experience. He even escorted us to the corner pub and helped us order dinner! I can't rave enough about how wonderful they are. The hotel is located outside the city center, but they have everything you need. The pool provided us a wonderful way to relax and soak up the sun, and the restaurant offers a wide array of delicious food. We spent one entire day at the hotel and all our needs were met. We spent many hours on the 3rd floor balcony (there's one balcony per floor) drinking coffee and watching the street come alive before our eyes. The hotel is gated and secure, but the location provides the opportunity to see real life unfold as people enter the shops across the road, sell donuts on the sidewalk, and fetch water from the community water source near the corner. That said, you can also retreat to the comfort of an air conditioned room or lounge by the pool and escape it all. We can't wait to return to Green Mountian and see our Tanzanian family!

Very pleasant. I would definitely recommend this Hotel. Value for money ! The roo was VERY clean, the staff were helpful, 24 hour staff. We could even order food any time we wanted. Central location and Very comfortable bed.

キリマンジャロ国際空港から内陸の村Haydomへの移動中にアルーシャを経由した際に1泊。お値段は$38程度と、バックパッカーとしては若干高い値段（ゲストハウスはTsh15000～25000）ではある。しかし、そういう宿はさすがに不安だが、高級ホテル（インパラホテルなど$100～）は高すぎ、「清潔なベッド・部屋、温水シャワー、wifi環境」の3つがあってそこそこ安いホテルがよい…となればベストチョイスのホテルではないだろうか。新しいホテルで部屋はとても清潔、wifiは極めて安定しており、IP電話を利用して日本と問題なく通話できた。場所もインパラホテル（アルーシャで最も有名な高級ホテルの1つ）の近くで、そんなに中心部から離れていない。パブリックランドクルーザーやダラダラ乗り場まではタクシーで昼ならTsh 3000～5000、早朝ならTsh 10000程度。ダラダラにとび乗ればTsh400程度。
