Very sweet host family and wonderful clean rooms. They are spacious with great air conditioning and clean bathrooms. It's perfect if you want a more local feel, but still want a hotel/rented space feel as well.

Our favourite stay on Moorea”
We (2 adults, 2 children) had an amazing stay at Haere Mai Te Fare. The service was faultless - Lucie helped us plan our arrival on Moorea, found a rental car when all the rental websites showed none available, and was incredibly accommodating during our stay. The rooms are spotlessly clean and well appointed, and the breakfast is excellent - a huge range of tasty food & drinks. The fare is beautiful, and the walk up the hill behind was just what we needed after our huge breakfast. The views of the lagoon and Tahiti from the top are well worth the climb. We just wished we could have stayed longer. Thank you for hosting us!

A hidden treasure”
Haere Mai I Te Fare was a wonderful experience. The place was secluded but just a few minutes off the main road. You'll find yourself staying amongst nature with the sounds of birds to serenade you! The host family were wonderful and very welcoming. Despite our language differences for some of them (French vs. English), they were able to anticipate our needs and provided a great homemade breakfast too. The room and separate bathroom were very clean, spacious and comfortable. I would recommend staying here for those people who are seeking a unique experience vs. a typical hotel setting.

The best in Moorea....”
I loved my stay here. The owners were so friendly and I think it's the coolest looking guest house. I'm not a resort kind of person. If you are resort style, there are plenty on Moorea, but as I am not, I'm glad I came across this little spot. Dinner is available, should you want to stay in and the food is decent. I'll go back the next time I visit Moorea.

The facility is down a long rocky dirt road, making it hard to find a taxi that would take me. Once at the property it was set in a lush jungle like setting. I feel it would have been more spectacular had the area been cleaned up from debris. But it was still very peaceful. My room had ac, it was very spacious and clean. At first I LOVED the idea of the outdoor bathroom (not attached to room). During the day it was nice. Then I remembered I'm one of those get up every 2 hours to pee people (due to BP medication). At night... that mess is NOT FUN. Dark walks to the bathroom through mosquitoes. Sharing the bathroom with geckos and cockroaches. After the long day me and my friend just slept 90% of the time we stayed here. The owner Lucy thought was wonderful. Super sweet and attentive. We ate breakfast the next morning and moved on to our next destination. We only stayed 1 night as we wanted a jungle setting environment stay for our trip. I would recommend this to backpackers, outdoorsy people, folks looking for solitude and quite.

Un très bon accueil de lucie et Philippe , un site très calme ,verdoyant ,le petit déjeuner super pour bien démarrer la journée sans oublir le remerciement des filles pour le dîner d'un soir soir ou l'on s'est régalé enfin un super séjour bisous à toute le famille
