This place has a really homely vibe, there isnt much tourists around which reduces the "vibe" you can get in Japan, so that's a plus for me! Location is amazing as its probably less than 50 metres from the place where you can buy ski pass and enjoy the day of ski-ing! Boris also brought me to get the ski gear, which i can easily return through the hotel, saving me a trip to the rental place.

Boris was an excellent host - very attentive and thorough and was always in good spirits. He made the stay enjoyable and went out of his way to help guests focus on their holiday. The lifts/tickets are a short walk, though I have heard it is possible to ski down the road for access. Rental shop is close by, but Boris kindly made all the arrangements and collected/returned equipment. Premises is close to Chill cafe, which was not open this season. Add breakfast to your stay for maximum convenience. A good spot. Well worth it. Mid week deals are a great deal.

My husband and I had a great stay at Hakken. The ski-in location is amazing and it’s conveniently located very close to many restaurants. Dan was incredibly helpful in helping us with everything we needed (shipping bags, restaurants, etc). The free shuttles to/from the train station and nearby ski resorts was easy and awesome. Overall we’d highly recommend Hakken!

The accommodation was great, only downside being no lift, so you got to carry yr luggage up 1 flight of stairs. The heater was functioning and provided sufficient heat to keep the room toasty and comfortable for our time of stay there. Location wise, its about 5 mins away from Madarao Mountain Resort, but with the road condition combined with the ice, the surface isn't the most ideal for your luggage's wheels. Plenty of restaurants around with a convenience store about 5-10 mins away (Anderson). Staff was friendly (Kayleigh and PK) and very accommodating. Breakfast was decent with hard-boiled eggs/ toast/ oats/ yogurt/ cereal and juices. There's a drying room for all your wet gear/ boards/ skis that you can use to dry your stuff overnight when you are resting. Small private bath area (cosy) for couples/ individuals to rest / recharge (45 mins per session). In the room, the bed was comfortable, just that the pillow was a little soft. You can watch youtube/ Netflix (your own account).

ロケーションも窓からの眺めが最高です。スタッフの対応もとてもフレンドリーでした。今回たまたまだと思うがガスヒーターが故障したけれど、広い部屋へアップグレードしてくれました。
