Excellent hotel”
This was another hotel we stayed in the Nikko area. The hotel's location is across from Lake Chuzenji and near the bus station. There is amazing scenery around the hotel. That day we moved here from Kinugawa. The weather was heavy rain because the typhoon will land the Tokyo area. So we checked in the hotel at about 10 am and then we had to stay in the hotel room all day. The bedroom and bathroom are spacious, clean and conformable. 6 pm was dinner time in the hotel restaurant. Everybody enjoyed a set meal of delicious Japanese food. The breakfast buffet was also very tasty. The No.19 typhoon severely hit the Tokyo area. When we checked out, the hotel reception informed us that the trains were closed from Nikko to Tokyo. Finally, the hotel owner drove us to another station then we can transfer to Tokyo. Anyway, the hotel made a good impression on us, we’re grateful to the hotel owner for his help. We look forward to staying at Hatago Nagomi Hot Spring Hotel again.

BEST Hotel ever been”
I would give more stars if I could. This is the best hotel I’ve ever been. Locations were good, it’s just infront of Chuzenji Lake and you can reach famous Kegon Falls by walk. The staffs are very very polite, they served us like a king and queen. It’s funny sometimes because they were too good everytime, they have high minimum service operation to visitors. And don’t you ever try to tip them as they said they serve fully with heart. Bedroom are really nice and sparkling clean, it’s very spacious, we have no complain at all in the hotel. Lake view from the room were astonishing as our view that time was much snow. At night, we tried their japanese dinner course - it’s ¥3,000 exclude tax per person, but it’s really worth to try! They got delicious food which made me speechless and wanna cry, their pork belly and desert in particular. But remember, japanese dinner set could be different every season, we went there around spring (13-14 april, yes it’s spring but still got lot of snow at Chuzenji), talking about food, Nikko was famous in their Strawberry and Yuba (tofu skin) which appear in Jay Chou’s Initial D film. :) We like bathing in the onsen so much, the pond was small but more than enough to get the feel, the shower room and dry closet was the best, too. Soap, Conditioner, and Shampoo got the best smell I’ve ever had, try it yourself! I highly recommend this hotel! Minus point : no lift maybe because they are semi authentic hotel, but no big deal as they can bring ur luggage up and down. Furthermore about our journey, if you go up until Yuno Lake you will pass the hardest initial D track when the mainchar (Takuma) sent Tofu from Gunma! Although you have professional bus driver, Prepare your heart coz the bus went down could be really scary for somepeople! Thankyou Hatago, Will definitely coming back! :)

Peerless service in a beautiful town”
The staff at Ha Ta Go went out of their way to accommodate our every need in an outstandingly professional manner, even taking care of things that had no expectation of us requiring. I had even seen the manager go so far as to make sure other guests had someone to sweep the snow off their shoes before getting into their car. The breakfast and dinner services provided excellent food, to suit both western and Japanese tastes at a very low cost considering the quality of the meals and again outstanding staff. The facilities at the hotel are excellent with modern spacious rooms and all the requirements for extended stays. The outdoor natural spring was absolutely magical, soaking in the steamy hot water as snow drifts down onto the surrounding rocks was exactly the relaxation needed after exploring around Nikko. As for the Nikko area itself, I can heartily recommend it as an all season area to tour. Those only wishing to travel during the green seasons are missing out on beauty

Amazing stay”
Absolutely loved this hotel. The room was so spacious and clean and had a great view. The staff was so incredibly friendly and patient (we had a two year old toddler). The facilities are great and the Onsen is fantastic. Great location. This family run hotel is a true gem. The owner and his son were there to answer every question and assist us with everything. The food is super delicious as well. Would definitely return and encourage others to do so.

friendly staff and helpful with directions, advice and carrying our luggage (no elevator). it’s right beside lake chuzenji and a tobu bus stop. supermarket nearby. clean and neat rooms. onsen and bath are good. japanese dinner is good.

Everything about the hotel was perfect, the room was clean and the view was breathtaking. The size of the room was great for family. Staffs were friendly and nice. If you are looking for a place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the lake, this hotel is a must for you. We had a corner room with a cute swing in the room. Highly recommended.

Hotel is 5 min walk from bus stop Chuzenji no.26. The piere for lake chuzenji cruise is in front of the hotel. You can walk directly to Kegon water fall around 10 min. We've stay on 4th floor. The room is very big with nice view of Lake Chuzenji. There're full of basic accommodation in the room. But this hotel is no elevator if you carry the big luggage, please beware. The restaurant around here was close since we arrive at 4.00pm, so I would reccomend to book a dinner and breakfast, the food is awesome. Staff was fluent in english and very good service mind. Thank you for make my first Nikko trip was wonderful.

This is a great hotel to stay. It has free parking, free wi-fi, nice onsen, nice buffet breakfast. The rooms are large, clean and modern. The only potential problem is the lack of an elevator for those who may need one.

Good location ”
The hotel is just by the lake. It’s working distance to the waterfall, the temple and the bus station. However we came in the light season so there is no restaurant opened nearby. By the way, If you have lots of luggage, you can send them from nikko station and they will send ur luggage to the hotel by 5pm at the same day. Because the road is one way, you can visit all the paces along to the hotel without going back to station to take ur luggage.

Room with Lake Chuzenji View”
Love the hotel. Recommended for people who wants to stay in Okku Nikko and having Lake Chuzenji view from their room. The location is near Chuzenji Onsen Bus Terminal (5-6 mins walk) and if you buy Nikko All Area Pass, the Lake Chuzenji Boat Cruise Terminal is just across the street. The Staffs very helpful and they will explain one by one your dinner course to you. Note that there is no elevator in the hotel. The hotel is 4 stories high. The open air hot spring has milky and sulfur water makes your body afloat.

Nice lake view”
Room with great lake view! A minimart 5 min walk from hotel but not 24 hours. For those who have big luggage, I suggest to alight at bus stop 28. Less than 3 min walk from this bus stop (against traffic flow).
