This is a charming and lovely hotel. It looks like a big onsen resort at first, but is actually rather compact and cozy; nonetheless it has two very attractive hot springs. Staff is friendly and professional. I did somewhat wish that the onsen had a cold water bath, especially since the weather was hot. Unfortunately due to Corona, some facilities were unavailable; hopefully the situation will be over soon so that customers can return to great hotels like this.

I like the attitude of staff and their recommendations are great! Although one of the staff asked me to pay for rent upon arrival (but I recalled I should have settled the payment before arrival) and later on I really found that I made double payment, the staff immediately rectified the issue for me and refunded the extra payment. Thumb up! :)

The hotel has superb public spas along with amazing drum performance as entertainment for their customers. P. S. Shout out to one of their receptionists(slightly tan skinned young male wearing glasses) was extremely helpful and friendly during our stay at the hotel. He folded crane and frog origamis for us as well as volunteerily taken lots of photos for us in front of the Halloween monument. One of the Japanese with the best spoken English we have met so far. During our check out, knowing that we are rushing for the train, he also helped to inform the bus driver. Kudos to the driver as well for trying his best to send us to the station in time safely.

Room is nice and clean, it's very japanese style with tatami and sliding door. Onsen is great and has varieties. Staffs are helpful. The free shuttle bus service to Kaga Onsen station is very handy since the hotel location is far from station. Location is near the Soyu and Kosoyu.

Fantastiskt”
I got a special price to stay here—normally this level of hotel would be out of my budget. Very clean overall, lovely room and spa facilities (especially the onsen on the ground floor—there’s a sauna!). Take advantage of the spa facilities at their sister hotel down the road, it’s potentially even nicer. Didn’t get the meal plan, but that was fine as there were plenty of restaurants and a Lawson’s nearby.

Though room is big but facilities are so so. Breakfast was terrible and everything was cold. Suggest to get something at convenient store. Onsen was so so too.

Excellent facilities and located only a few minutes walk from the centre of Yamashiro Onsen town. The food is delicious (make sure to include it in your stay) and I am already missing the outdoor onsen. What really made my stay there great were the staff. While a little English is spoken by some of the staff even those who didn't speak it went out of there way to make my stay enjoyable.

Clean, comfy, great onsen”
The hotel is closed to the Takayama JR station and the bus station, when you arrived just easily find the highest brown building and go directly to it. The room is clean and comfortable. Guests are needed to take off shoes when entering the hotel after checked in and barefoot in the whole entire hotel area. We have booked breakfast and dinner. The breakfast and dinner are tasted good, excepted the hida beef, we are disappointment on the hida beef. The beef was not good as we expected but it is acceptable. The onsen area located on the 13th floor. You can have a great view and overlook the whole Takayama city from the top of the floor. There are three private hot spring rooms and one public onsen. If the private rooms is occupied, you can used the public onsen instead. Guests are allowed to use the private onsen for only 30 mins, we lined up for just 15 mins for the private rooms. The room is large, the hotel is traditional, the staff is nice. It is typical Japanese services which is excellent. It is a bit difficult to notice the location as i was driving by and cycled for 3 times and finally notice the hotel. Breakfast was great.

Nice hotel. Staff's English level is not strong enough for basic conversation. The breakfast that I have tried is also not the best experience I have had in this trip. I would say fair. Some of the facilities are so old such as the games room and Karaoke disco room, still using the big fat square TV. Overall I would say it is a good traditional hotel. The bath is outstanding and it allows travellers to experience the unique tradition of Japan. What this hotel need is upgrade its entertaining facilities and english standard if its going to put itself avaliable at international sites such as Agoda.

最传统的日式温泉酒店，外国游客不多的原因吧 英文不是太好，由于没有看官网信息，在预约短驳车沟通有点困难。和琉璃代是同属于一个老板的，所以接驳大巴是一起的。房间有点陈旧。不过温泉确实很👍可以得到很好的放松

เหมือนย้อนยุคเข้าไปในละคร โรงแรมดูดีมาก มีห้องน้ำในตัว และมี hotspring ให้บริการสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกทั้งในห้องและใน hotspring ถือว่าครบมาก มีการแสดง ตอน 2 ทุ่ม 40 ให้แขกชม เดินทางถึงสนามบิน จะมีรถจากโรงแรมมารับ ถ้าแจ้งเวลามาถึงไว้ ถ้าไม่แจ้งจะมีรถเวียน จอดที่สถานี แต่ป้ายเป็นภาษาญี่ปุ่น ต้องเดินถาม โดยแจ้งชื่อโรงแรมว่าฮาโตริ เมืองนี้ใช้ภาษาอังกฤษน้อยมาก เจ้าหน้าที่ก็สื่อสารด้วยญี่ปุ่น ป้ายต่างๆหรือเอกสารก็ไม่ค่อยมี ภาษาอังกฤษ โดยรวมถือว่าดีมาก
