Bra läge i Chinatown ”
Ligger i downtown Rangoon med livligt folkliv. Nära till 19:e gatan med massor av restauranger. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal som överallt i Burma. Vi hade otur denna gång att få ett rum där det var problem med toaletten. Det åtgärdades men blev fel igen och slutade med att vi sista dagen fick använda toaletten i ett annat rum. Man försökte med att spola rent med brandslangen men då kom inget vatten och det kan kännas mer problematiskt på 8:e våningen! Som kanske tur är man lyckligt ovetande om sådana saker.

Great hotels for the money”
Whenever I come to Yangon, I always stay in the 21st street or Chinatown Grand United. They are pretty much the same and only 2 blocks from each other. The rooms are always comfortable and clean, the breakfast is good and the staff is incredibly knowledgeable about area, attentive and kind. This past weekend, I was lucky enough to get an incredible discount on the Penthouse Suite at the Chinatown location. It was perfect! I got an extra large room with a king sized bed, 2 big screen TVs and a wonderful private, top floor patio with a great view of both the pagoda and the river. I do not think I could have enjoyed my time there more. Great hotels for the money!

Small hotel , Value for money and Good Location”
Thanks for upgraded room for me to be rooftop floor. Nice room with good view. Good location. I can walk around to find food and there're many supermarkets. Close to night market and China town area. Staff are very nice.

A decent place you should not miss”
We checked in early and checked out late . Staff also looked after our luggage wheb we were out. and staff were so accomodating. they Help us with everything we need. oh! breakfast comes with different selections as well Good customer service Cant complain

Location, location, location”
An overwhelmingly helpful and friendly staff, in an active, unique part of Yangon. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Proximity to Yangon sights. Lots of food, street vendors, tea shops and westernized restaurants within walking distance.

Moved ! ”
When we arived we were told that they had overbooked due to renovations which I must admit made us nervous and dissapionted at first . After appoligess from staff we were told we would be going to the sister hotel a couple of streets away about 2 min walk. Staff then took us to the Grand United and we were offerd breakfast while they cleaned our room as it was early morning . The hotel was in a good location within walking distance to everthing you could need and the staff were very helpful with everthing and spoke good english . The breakfast was fantastic and I am not sure who does the cooking but the Fish dish and the Hot and Sour chicken are fantastic. There was a good virety each day and diffrent choices each day . Would deffently stay again and recomend this hotel .

Fantastiskt”
The property is clearly dated, BUT everything's fully functional. If you are looking for a glitzy, 21st century experience you're not going to get it, but you will get a good if, at least in my case, a bit quirky, room and great service. Quirky? The room was intensely brown: Walls, drapes, chairs, even the toilet. Somehow reminded me of the '70's but if one lived through those years one is not supposed to be able to remember them so ??? Oops - just found out there is a size limit. The summary: Awesome hot water once adjusted. About the best I've had. Read instructions and be patient. Air conditioning adequate, impressive as it was a corner room with lots of windows. Daytime street noise (I think those windows were single-glazed) died down at night. I'm a light sleeper and didn't wear earplugs. Kettle had big UK plug. Only one such outlet. Router had same. Chose between tea & Internet. Chairs that at first glance looked like the poo emoji - remember: brown! Okay, outta space!

My room was clean. The staffs were friendly and very helpful. They tried they best to made my days of staying with them at most comfortable and convenient.

We stayed here for 4 nights with low expectations as we didnt pay a lot of money but everything was great. Our room was a good size with a super comfy bed. It was all immaculately clean and we were provided with as much free bottled water as we wanted. Breakfast was good with a few Burmese dishes plus eggs etc. The location was a little further away from the places we wanted to go but Grab taxis were so so cheap and easy to get that we really didn't mind.

Who speaks Japanese, only minus point is the sower room , hot water were not available this time... hope it will fix for the next time stay !

Best location. Although room is small, but its clean, staff are great and nice. Breakfast is sufficient. Will recommend this hotel.

Watch on the 4th. Floor is pitch black dirty and filthy. Management is very aware of this and have done nothing to fix it. They moved us to a higher floor (where water was slightly brown) and reserved the 4th. Floor room to the next guest. According to the staff this is an ongoing problem. A very serious health issue!
