Ruhig gelegenes Hotel an zentraler Lage. Freundlich, Personal kann sich mit ein wenig Englisch verständigen. Frühstück ok. Achtung: sehr kleine Zimmer, zu dritt mit grossen Koffern sehr umständlich!

Small hotel, great staff”

Hotel very old, the room is very2 small although we booked for twin room, cost is reasonable compared to other nearby hotels, breakfast is not worth having, but the staff were very good & helpful, they also offered free office service like laptop, printing etc. Location is quite good.

Very Near to Train Station.”

We stayed here for 2 nights on 8 & 9 February 2019, the hotel is 5 minuets walking dustance from the train station. . Breakfast is simple with unlimited coffee. The old street quarter and morning market is nearby the hotel. Very convenient. Will come back again in future.

Nice japanese style room”

We love our stay there. Toilet was equipped with latest tech, room space was okey and the hotel just next to temple where we can easily visit. Breakfast was a plus point. Although it was simple but enough for us:)

Compact Hotel ”

Room is very compact and not quite new. location is good just 2 minutes to walking street. 5 minutes to morning market. Adequate breakfast. mini mart is located in 5 minutes walking distance. Friendly staffs. Free parking. Good choice for traveler.

Excellent stay!”

The hotel is a short 5 mins walk from Takayama Nohi Bus Terminal, which is the stop for many day tours from Takayama. The room was very comfortable. There is no Wi-Fi provided by the hotel in the room. But, this problem is resolved if you register on Japan's .Free_Wi-Fi_Passport. This will give you very strong Wi-Fi connection in the room.

Super Clean and nice room”

Im satisfy with this hotel...clean washroom...nice and comfortable tatami bed...quite large bedroom. The hotel also provide free drink for us anytime at the lobby. Breakfast is simple but enough for us..some bread, egg and few salads. Overall, it was a lovely stay in this hotel....we like it soo much.

A small hotel hidden ”

This is my first stay in entire Japan trip. I booked for Japanese room with futon. I loveeeeee the room very much, it is clean and very comfy for a single traveller like me. We even got shiseido toiletries to use despite the room's prices. Free simple breakfast for everyone, feel so homey. Takayama is a small town, therefore it is walkable to almost every tourist sport instead the hida folk village and the teddy bear eco museum is a bit far away. Around 5-8mins walk from the Jr station and nohi bus terminal. Just free yourself to stroll and walk around the miyajima river in the evening and early morning. Feel like I want to retire here.. !!!

my first snow in my life!”

This hotel not far from Takayama Station.Its about 10 min walk. Near with Takayama famous temple. Very beautiful with snowy sorroundings. This hotel provide delicious orange juice in the morning. Room & bathroom is small but for me still comfort for solo traveller.

It was a good hotel, only if you need a place to put your head down and that's it. Very basic but staff as always were friendly.

Overall good for short stay”

Good location which is near train station and tourist spts. The hotel is a little bit old but room is clean. Simple breakfast but do provide free self-service hot coffee and tea at the lobby. Staffs are friendly and helpful.

Old, but compacted with everything. ”

The hotel is pretty old, but compacted with everything you need. It’s located just right next to Hida Kokubuji Temple, near bus and train station. Nearest Family mart is just 5 mins away by walking. They have bicycles for you to rent for FREE. Do not expect fancy breakfast here.

We booked a Japanese style room and it was nice, spacious and clean. Staffs are very helpful and friendly. However the internet connection was very awful. Hope they will manage later. Very close to the old town, restaurants and transportation. Another best choice to stay again.

Good value stay”

Hotel Hana is conveniently located, the hotel provides the comforts that we need. The staff is helpful and allows us to leave our luggage with them even after checkout. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast though simple is delicious and substantial.

Hotel Hana is a small hotel but well located in takayama. Staff is very helpful, the rooms are clean, toiletries are provided. Easy walking distance to attractions, there's parking at ¥500 a day. Many eateries around hotel and supermarkets too.

Good value hotel in Takayama.”

I had a deluxe single so a single bed, desk, chair, TV ( but a few Japanese channels only), small fridge, hairdryer,air conditioning, small capsule bathroom, good block out curtains, few cost hangars on a railing. Carpeted floor but pretty stained. Small amount of room to move and have to be creative about where you put your bag. BED was ok but the pillow was terrible, it was filled with little beads like a bean bag and very hard. I asked for another but that is the only sort they have. Free buffet breakfast included served in the lobby and it was fine. Boiled eggs, salads, soup, bread and buns to toast,jams, Orange juice. Free tea and coffee all day. Staff friendly and obliging. Hotel was pretty quiet except for some guys shouting in the corridor at 4.45am one morning but that can happen anywhere. Great location, close to station and all the sights etc. Recommended overall.

Need to let guests choose air con settings”

Very comfy beady pillow. Air con was restricted to heating mode only and didn’t respond to change of settings on the remote no matter what buttons I pushed, so it was very hot. Simple breakfast was enough to get me through the morning.
