Beautiful hotel, nice and secluded”
Tucked away in the Iya Valley, one wouldn't expect many foreigners here. But Chinese go where they go, so my neighbours where noisy Chinese. Just keep that in mind if you book here. The hotel itself is huge, and as a result, I needed to take TWO elevators to get to/from my room. The room was nice and big, but behind the faux Japanese windows is a regular window that was lined with mold, so I kept it closed. Speaking of cleanliness, in several places across the hotel the flooring had huge stains and discolouration. It absolutely stood out, and they should get that cleaned/replaced. The public bath was fantastic. Silky soft water, the main bath is HUGE, and outdoors was a nice way to cool off. The breakfast was different on each of the three mornings. Set meal combinations of Japanese and/or continental. Very filling and tasty. And good views of the gorge, too.

The place is clean, comfortable and elegant. The breakfast has lots of different varieties. The best thing is the staff that served us called 武內和美 is extremely helpful and friendly.

The onsen was great. We were at the annex building. Need to walk a bit and take 2 times the elevator to get from room to onsen.

Location was not bad, right in the center of a few sighseeing spots around. F&B was pretty nice; we stayed for two nights and they prepared difference set menus for us, including breakfast and dinner.

Relaxing place. Good hot spring. Dinner & breakfast are delicious. However, Onsen is far away & we have to walk more than 5 minutes to get there from our rooms. Hotel pick up services are good.

It's good hotel with many room, dinner and morning set are delicious with local food. Outdoor Onsen is with good view. Easy to reach the sight-seeing locations.

A place to relax”
Free pick up from the JR station and they also give me a ride to the bridge. The location is not far from the village town but there is not much to see there. If you did not take the dinner option, you can get dinner from the restaurant in the spa, the price is reasonable. Very nice spa because it also serve the local people, with several massage baths and outdoor spa. Wifi only available in the lobby and reception for 3g/4g is very very weak in the village, so maybe time to stay away from technology....

Dinner no good. Not many items and the quality and quantity are not good enough. Staff very poor English. Trainee to do check in and the service is very poor. Not attentive. Staff have no common sense. Wasting a lot of time for communication during stay. Hot spring facilities are too simple.

Locaton is good and easy to find. Hotel is big with 2 building, selected Japanese style room is also nice and clean. Breakfast and Dinner is very good. Spa nice and comfortable.
