- big size room more than average in japan, the room was old but very clean. - best location connect with shin hotaka ropeway and nohi bus stop. if you plan for 1 st ropeway on 9.00 am. this hotel is good choice -best mountain view of outdoor onsen, for people form tropical country as Thai people very excited to see snow mountain and minus temperature in the warm bath onsen -very good staff service and I advised to try the dinner package in Japanese style (the dinner set have many serves so very full) - near hirayu otaki water fall light up festival, you don't missed it.

Spacious rooms, friendly staff”

Pros: next to bus stop and Shinhotaka Ropeway, spacious rooms though furnitureso look a little dated. Staff are very friendly and smiley, helpful, great service. The meals are sumptuous. Lovely onsen with mountain view. Hot water available within room, and ice cubes available at service area. Cons: it is quite costly to travel by bus to Hirayu Onsen bus terminal, bear park and waterfall, so do get a travel pass to save on bus fare costs. The drainage of my room's bathtub needs to be checked as the toilet floor became flooded. Overall it has been a great stay.

Only good for those who need a rope way ride in the morning ”

Everything was more than average. The old building was compensated with the rather large-size room and nice outdoor onsen. The dinner and breakfast were nothing special but acceptable. The staff ( some are non Japanese) were all polite and friendly. If you plan to go up the mountain by ropeway in the morning, this is the best and only choice as it is only 30 seconds walk to the ticketing booth. Would I stay there again? Probably not as there are many better choices in Takayama And Hirayu Onsen area.

Best place to stay in Mount Hokata”

My 2nd stay in Hotel Hokata, it have the best location for my visit to ropeway. Everything is great in the hotel. the staff is so kind that will ask about the menu, but, please do not order seafood instead of beef for your meal.

Aged hotel with great views and a stone's throw away from ropeway”

We stayed in the western type room with a private in-room hot water bath. The tub has aged due to the sulphur in the water. Other than that, the view is great and the food was really good. The meals was really pleasant with special praise for Aoyama-san.

Best Japanese hotel I encountered so far. It is in a remote onsen village, just next to ropeway entrance. The trip to it itself is impressive: endless hilly roads with stunning view (not for the driver). It is so nice that everything is covered with ice. It serves properly arranged Japanese dinner and breakfast which is far beyond my expectation. Room is nice and warmed up with central heater, but it is actually too hot even I turned it to low level and I had to open the window. There is a nice outdoor onsen and I was using it like a private one as the hotel is never crowded. I can wait to come back here again.

Hotel is super awesome and it is such a pleasant experience to stay there Public onsen(hotspring) is a must try Private onsen (need book with front desk) is also very good Breakfast and dinner are all very nice Remember to book traditional Japanese style room :-)

Great location ”

The location of hotel hotaka was fantastic, it is just 1 min walk to Ropeway and bus station where the bus can take you directly to Takayama station . The kasetki dinner and breakfast was ok but wasn't impressed! Room was spacious and clean , the staff were very friendly , overall we had a great stayed

除了温泉 其他一般”

位置在奥飞驒温泉乡深处，从平汤温泉坐巴士40分钟，虽然车程长，不过一路风景不错。酒店有点老了，餐点一般，房间设施也一般。不过温泉的确很赞，特别喜欢露天高温硫磺汤船，很舒服。

地点方便”

酒店的地理位置非常方便不用说，就在浓飞巴士新穗高线的终点站，我们于1月23日晚入住，打算第二天乘新穗高缆车，但是不巧的是那几天山里都是暴雪，缆车连着三天都停运了，当然这和酒店没有任何的关系。酒店相较于家庭日式旅馆，规模还是挺大的，露天风吕不错，酒店的餐食也是非常用心，虽然对于吃惯中华料理的我来说还是有一点点吃不惯，但就日式料理来说是非常精致，飞驒牛肉很赞。只是乘了那么远的车来入住最后却无缘新穗高缆车有些遗憾，不过庆幸缆车虽然停运，但是缆车站的商店依然营业，让我们第二天总算有个地方吃午饭，因为除此以外，酒店周围真的没有什么可以逛逛看看的，第二天我们入住了福地温泉，觉得那里的雪景更赞。

在纜車站及巴士總站對面, 1分鐘步行到. 往高山市的巴士經過附近有名景點, 包括溫泉區及滑雪場. 我住的是Room 300A 含私人溫泉面向纜車站, 下雪天風景美麗,. 私人溫泉不大, 入住三天都下大雪, 水溫不足30度, 而還是酒店B1層的免費溫泉好玩., 酒店午餐及晚餐水準可以, 建議追加飛驆牛肉. 酒店Cafe 有燒柴火爐, 賣的5款雪芭都好吃. 留意高山市乘坐的士由至酒店收費約18,000日元, 1小時車程..

超赞的地理位置，非常棒的温泉！”

就在新穗高缆车的对面！浓飞巴士新穗高缆车站下面，一边是缆车站，一边是HOTEL。房间超大的！10块塌塌米睡两个人耶~~至今为止住过最大的和室了！温泉也很赞，一股浓浓的硫磺味，室外也有两个池子，泡得好舒服。餐厅用的早餐和晚餐也都很精致！
