We loved our stay! We are a family of 8 and we got the two triple occupancy rooms. Free for kids below 13. Room is bigger than most hotels. JR Gotanda is just across the street. There are 3 exits as well for the Asakusa line, one right in front of the hotel and 2 more around 2-3 mins walk away. We travelled with my mom who walks with a cane and she was able to manage the stairs. But the A3 exit has the elevator which we choose most of the time to make it easier for her. Great amenities. Toilet, bathroom sink and shower is separate so it’s easier for big groups. There’s a bath tub too! Right beside the hotel lobby is the Family Mart and also a supermarket nearby. And the alley behind the hotel has a great Izakaya where we had a wonderful dinner. Will surely consider staying here again when we go back to Tokyo!

My family n I have been to Tokyo a no of times n always stay in different hotels. Among all the hotels, we are very satisfied with this hotel. LOcation is very good coz next to the Gotanda train station which is on the Yamamote Line which is very convenient to travel to Shibuya, Shinjuku, Ueon etc. There is a family mart just downstairs. Room is very spacious. 20mins express train ride to Haneda Airport. Hghly recommend this hotel to anyone who is travelling solo or with family.

Very good experience here. Fuss-free check in and check up process and the hotel would keep your luggage before and after you check in/check out. Room was clean although a little small. Very near to the train station (need to cross a road).

Hotel was close to JR station (about 1 minute walk) and had family mart just beside it. Quad room was perfect for family with young children (aged 7 and 5); staff was friendly and accommodating. Only downside is few options for restos in the area but there is always the option to ride the train to go to a different area (jr gotanda is just 3 stops to jr shibuya station). Will definitely stay again next time.

It’s not as crowded as shibuya, and I like the fact that it’s right beside the train station. It’s extremely easy to locate, and you have options to either take the JR line or Asakusa Line. Asakusa line goes to Narita Airport and also to Haneda Airport. Get the 72 hour metro pass, it’s worth it. JR line is a little pricer but you certainly will save time. Food wise, there’s plenty of eateries around the area, and there is no queue. Just walk in and eat with the locals. Laundry facilities are available, on the 5th and 10th floor. It’s a bonus , you can pack light. There is also a convenient store right outside the hotel and you can readily buy your snacks, supper or breakfast. Something to note though, the hotel does not provide mineral bottled water. They provide kettle, so you would have to boil and drink from there. Lastly, the housekeeping team does a great job in cleaning. Recommended. :)

Great hotel, it is really 1min walk away from Gotanda station, very convenient on the JR line. I am thankful to the hotel for the facilities, such as cable charger for diff kind of phones provided and also additional free amenities provided at the lobby (I.e hair ties, comb, facial wash, toner in sample sizes). Staff there are also friendly. Also has washing machines/dryer/chopsticks and microwave at 5F/10F. Good job to Mystays for the facilities provided! However only con I felt they could really work on was the cleanliness of the room. I think the cleaning team needs to work on the level of standard for cleanliness. The toilet bowls had accumulated black stains underneath which was obvious. Areas such as TV behind and area of top bed frame was dusty. Slippers also not placed neatly and furniture also not put back to original position.

the location was amazing - right next to JR train and subway.. lots of nice restaurants in the area, less crowded but just as good.. not many malls/boutiques but shopping districts of Shibuya, Shinjuku, Akihabara, etc. are a train-ride away.. there's a convenience store adjacent to hotel.. room is cozy small but clean and beds are comfy and adequate.. plenty of hot water.. wifi worked well for us.. bathrooms equipped with toiletries, but in case you run out, you may freely take from the hotel lobby (appreciated the little things like toners, moisturizers, hair ties not often provided in other hotels).. check-in was quick.. breakfast buffet was okay.. over-all, good value for money..

Superior Queen room (room 422) was quite spacious compared to a previous stay in an APA Hotel. Excellent location - across the road from Gotanda Station. No noise from the nearby train tracks. Our room faced the building next door. Staff were very helpful. Family Mart on the ground floor was super convenient. Would definitely stay there again.

location is close to the JR train and subway.. convenience stores just below the hotel.. toiletries you need are self-service at the hotel lobby.. the cute robot at the lobby is able to provide recommendations where to go/eat nearby -- occupied my kids while I checked-in quickly and fuss-free.. the area is full of nice restaurants, less crowded but equally good.. there is not a lot of shopping places in the area, although the shopping districts of Shinjuku, Akihabara, Shibuya, etc. are a train-ride away.. had no problem with the room Wi-Fi.. room was small, but beds adequate for couples.. availed of breakfast buffet which was okay.. over-all value for money and will not hesitate to recommend..

Location is perfect. stone throw from the subway station. 24hr family mart jus next to the hotel. Within the vicinity, there are restaurants,convenient stalls, malls, etc. Staff were competent, speaks perfect english even mandarin! Very fast in responding to my request. many reviews complaining about the size of room very tiny. For our room type deluxe triple room, we quite satisfied with the room size. Separate bath and toilet, 3 super single beds, coffee table & 2 chairs, luggage area, wardrobe.. no complaints on the size as it fits comfortably for our family of 3 adults and 2 child. As we facing the opposite building which is an office, there wasn't any noise of train at all. PJs, press iron, safe box, haidryer, fridge available in room. Vending machines and washing machine/dryer at certain levels. Housekeeping needs improve(certain days very clean but not everytime). Hotel restaurant buffet spread limited choice. Overall very satisfied with the hotel will book again.

Location is great just outside of JR station. Many minimarket aound and a big supermarket just a few minute walking. Room is standard for Japanese hotel. Everything is good for my opinion.

We stayed here for 3 nights. We booked the triple room. The room is big enough. The room amenties is quite complete. The room is comfortable and nice. The only deficiency is there are many dust in the corner of the room. The bathroom is big enough & also comfortable. The hotel location is near Gotanda Station, only 1 min walked. Even though near the station, i never heared train noise from my room. I tried the hotel restaurant, the taste was good. There are Family Mart next to the hotel. So you don’t have to worry if you want to buy snack/ drink/etc. There are also many store & restaurant near the hotel. The staffs are also really kind. Recommended
