Very nice hotel in Makuhari area”
The internet is fast, room is spacious, staff is wonderfully helpful. The room is clean, had a good view of the bay, and bed is comfortable. Have a bus directly to go to the airport from the hotel door. It is very close to the makuhari messe for convention. Breakfast buffet is delicious and have enough variety.

I did not stay in a double room with a single bed that I booked. I was assigned a two twin bed room for myself. The hotel was obviously not fully booked, so I did not understand why the front desk could not have just put me in a different room. I checked in at 3 and they required me to check out at 10am. The gentleman at the front desk insisted that this was their hotel policy. The rooms are a bit dated, but the location was excellent. The rest of the staff were very professional and helpful. There is an extra charge for the fitness facilities. The exhibition center is across the street, shopping outlets and train station are about a 15 minute walk from the hotel.

Excellent Location and Service”
While the hotel is excellently located near to the Makuhari Messe and Mitsui Factory Outlet, it is a short walk to the train station. Hotel staffs were very helpful. Breakfast spread is good and fresh.

Abit dated but overall a good hotel”
The hotel is located just a five minute walk away from the train station. Our room has a good sea view and is huge for a Japanese hotel. Although the room is dated, everything is well maintained. Chose this hotel as it is partner hotel with Disney hence we took advantage of the free shuttle bus pick up and drop off service between Disneyland/sea and the hotel.

Disney Land and Shopping ”
I was not expecting much of the location when I booked the Hotel but when I got there shopping was just a block away. And disneyland by bus makes life much easier. We do not need to carry stroller up and down the train.

Great 17th Birthday gift to my son!”
The Bay Suite complimentary upgrade was a pleasant surprise for my son 's 17th birthday and graduation gift! Room service was very fast and the food was delicious and nicely served. Check in and check out was fast. Airport limousine service was available and prompt. Our stay was very pleasant

hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. the hotel location is very good just near the jr station. but i'm a bit disapointed that the shower is very old-styled,not convenient and hard to use. one more thing about deposit,this is the very first hotel i've ever met that the deposit is much higher than my full payed accommodation fee

Stayed here to attend the nearby Tokyo Comic Con, a few blocks away. Staff was very professional, and English-friendly. Great location, 5 min walk to train station and several shopping/dining venues. I will definitely be staying here if I come back to Chiba!

Hotel Old Otani Makuhari”
I travel to Makuhari regularly for business and have been staying at different hotels trying to find a favourite. The Hotel New Otani is usually the priciest in the area, so I had high expectations, particularly with regards to the facilities. Unfortunately the facilities do not belong to the hotel - guest can use them for an additional 5000+ JPY - an extraordinary sum for what is already an expensive hotel. The rooms are very dated (which is common for the area), however quite spacious. The air conditioner filter in my room was caked in so much dust that it was being lifted up and down by the fan suction. The hotel staff were prompt to clean the filter after I brought it to their attention. Breakfast is nothing to get excited about - the menu was the exact same each day. In all, the APA next door has better facilities and more modern (albeit smaller) rooms, at a fraction of the price. That's the hotel to beat in Makuhari for now.

This is the second time we've stayed at New Otani Makuhari. Both times we went to Tokyo Comicon, which is right across the street. The breakfast buffet is amazing! The dinner buffet was also amazing, with many wonderful desserts. As long as we go to Tokyo Comicon, we will stay at the New Otani.

I'm so sorry to review it very late. I have some problem when I reserved room with agoda, I didn't know that it linked to booking.com so it cannot be paid right away which we want to. Fabulous Hotel away from Tokyo centre”
Great Hotel with large rooms for Japan on Tokyo bay at reasonable price. Train 30-40 min from Tokyo. However not at Disney as suggested, but bus to there(30 min) and good bus to airport. Great shopping centers nearby.

NICE HOTEL”
WE ENJOY OUR STAY, WE LIKE THE WALKING DISTANCE TO TRAIN STATION AND RESTAURANT THE ONLY THING WAS THE HOTEL DON'T HAVE A CONCIERGES THAT WE CAN BUY A GUIDED TOUR FOR BEING A FIRST TIME IN JAPAN. I WOULD RATE THEM 5 STAR IF THEY HAVE THIS.

i had a very pleasant stay for 2 nights at this hotel with amazing views of the sea and Tokyo bay. The real surprise for me was the quality of the food in the western style restaurant downstairs, excellent. Also good service generally. I'd stay again

It was like a few steps away from makuhari messe, when I got tired from watching the knotfest concert, the hotel was just within a reach wherein I found very convenient, no need to commute or whatsoever.
