Pleasant Surprise & Top notch Quality!”

Extremely pleased with the quality service they have provided for us. Very happy to stay in this hotel for a short stay before heading to Reethi Faru Resort. Upon arrival at Male Airport late in the night, we were immediately greeted by the staff from Hotel Octave Maldive and everything has been arrange beyond expectations and well organised, our luggage were handled properly and we head straight back to hotel from the airport (no waiting period - unlike other hotels). The trip back to hotel was around 15mins, the staff explained to us how is it like in Male and it's rich culture and experiences. Very happy to hear more about it. After which upon reaching the hotel, we were greeted by other staffs and also with a cool refreshing ice fruit tea. We were then guided to our room fast and easy. When we enter, our room were already ready for us to use, the air con and lighting has been turned on for us. We totally enjoyed and felt safe and comfortable. We were extremely happy to stay here!

Everything were perfect. The staffs are very kind & friendly. They are really pampered here even you come with kids. The room comes with 2 way free transfer which is very useful & they come pick us up on time. Room is spacious & clean, provide both fan & aircond, & also have kitchenette complete with refrigerator, washer machine, microwave, toaster, stove, & television. Upon our arrival, the room were ready which the aircond & lighting were already turned on for us. Breakfast just nice, worth for amount you pay. Highly recommended. Big thumb up! Keep this marvellous 5stars service.

Exceeded expectations ”

I booked a budget single room which was more than enough for few hours stay and I have to say I wish I had stayed longer. The owner was efficient checking me in and knew exactly what I needed (offered an airport transfer for my early flight the next day for a fee). He was also very flexible when my airline made last minute adjustments to my flight. Hotel is centrally located and took me only 15 minutes to walk from the airport jetty. It is in a very local yet safe area which I wanted to see and experience after spending days on a private island resort. There were a number of food places plus convenience stores around. Highly recommended and would definitely book again when I return to Male.

Great hotel for a stopover to the Maldive Islands”

Very clean, spacious and good value for our one night stop over. Good breakfast and the airport transfers are a great bonus. Location is good for a short walk around Male (will only take an hour!) before departing for an island holiday. Go to the fishmarkets and you'll take in a few government buildings of interest on the way

Great staff and hotel!!!! Very affordable and they offer great excursions through the hotel, although you can certainly look at outside agencies for those, if you want. Highly recommended!!!!! And that is coming from someone who has high standards for hotels and no hesitation to criticize when I sense something is lacking with a business.

Very good hotel”

This hotel I stayed for a night on my way back to Blore. After spending a week in private island I took this hotel to stay in Male and take next day flight. This is perfect for a single night stay in Male. Best part in this hotel is puck up and drop to Airport. Overall best for Male.

We are so glad we chose to stay at Hotel Octave. The service was excellent, really friendly and hospitable with plenty of great tips and advice. Room was big, comfy and quiet. Hotel pick up was fantastic too. We will return next time we are in Male. -the 2 Kiwis. Jan 2019.

Perfect stopping point to stay while in Male. Easy access to souvenir stores, monuments…6 min to national museum. Variety of restaurants.. Super friendly staff. ProvideS reasonable airport pick up & drop off options.

Mega-stay at Octave!”

Friendly and super helpful staff. Nice and quiet rooms and facilities while being in the middle of Male sorrounded by restaurants and shops. I lost my boat because I overslept and the staff quickly found me another one and took me there!

Most attentive and welcoming staff”

The greatest advantage of this property is the staff. They are competent, attentive, genuinely kind and welcoming. First was the airport meet. Unlike 4 other hotels which offered airport pickup, Hotel Octave actually had someone waiting for me when I arrived. The transfer was quick and efficient. The hotel itself is located in the middle of Male city convenient both for the airport and the port. The rooms are very clean and everything was spotless and in working order. Internet fast and reliable. The bed had a memory foam mattress which was very comfortable. The air conditioning was very quiet and efficient. It doesn’t blow directly on you when you are in bed which is the case at some other hotels where I stayed. Power adapters were provided in the room. The room itself simple and not large by western standards. But rooms in Male are probably the smallest in the world, so from that perspective it was a decent size. Breakfast wasn’t memorable but sufficient to get started in the morning

Utmärkt”

Ideal for a night in transit. We were picked up from the boat and taken to the airport at 6.30 am the following morning, for no extra cost. The room was clean, well equipped, and the staff were very helpful.

Great place for stopover”

The service was great. This was a stopover on our was to an island resort. Ishmael picked us up at the airport and gave us a little history and tour of the area on our way into town. He also gave us information on what to see and where to eat. Check in was efficient and we were presented with a welcome drink. After 31 hours of travel, we slept the afternoon and then ventured out in the evening for dinner. The next day we took Ishmael’s recommendations for what to see and where to eat and thoroughly enjoyed our day. We had an early seaplane ride to our resort the next morning. They opened breakfast early for us and then dropped us at the airport. Highly recommended as a reasonably priced centrally located hotel for a one to two day layover.
