The location may not be ideal for travellers who prefer to stay right near the station, but it was not hard to find and they now have a lift which you can take to the lobby. The rooms are clean and big for solo travellers, and their staffs are really friendly who are always willing to help. Overall, it was a really great experience for me!

Small room but nice, clean and comfortable enough for 2 persons travelling with 2 medium size luggage. Staff polite and efficient, and spoke some English which was helpful. The hotel was within a short walking distance from Ikebukuro station with many eateries, and supermarkets and convenience stores around. The hotel let us keep our luggage there for 1 night while we visited Kyoto (even though we were not going back to stay with them after) which helped a great deal, as we did not have to look for lockers at Ikebukuro station.

Good location with nice staff! It only takes 40-50 mins for travellers to go to airport by limousine buses. Breakfast was good but it could be better with more choices for customers. Next time i will still choose here to stay at my journey! 交通がとても便利です。スタッフ全員は優しい。もしメニューはもっと豊富になればいいですね。まだ次の旅行でここに住みたいんです。

If you're tired of expensive Tokyo restaurant fare, there are a lot of stores nearby, including the great Yamaya import shop right under the hotel. From the subway exit on their map, make a sharp right.

Convenient Budget Hotel.”

A small budget hotel in a great location - around 500 metres from the Ikebukuro Station North or West exits. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms, quiet location, near a laundrette, and a wine shop on the ground floor, all helped make my stay very enjoyable.

Overall very nice place to stay,reasonable price,friendly and helpful staff, handy for transportation,good location, many convenience stores and restaurants nearby! However, the hotel is located on the second floor without escalator or lift to get there...u have to carry your luggage and taking the stairs...

hotel is a bit far from the station. a lot of restaurants and shops around which is very convenient. cons there's no lift or escalator to go to the lobby hence moving heavy luggage would be a problem. way too dark in the room if u want to read. overall was ok.

near to a subway. convenient”

there are many convenience stores around and a supermarket and many departmental stores like oodi and seibu. hotel is around 5 blocks from the ikebukuro subway interchange station. around a 7 min walk. lobby is rather run down and room furnishings are rather old. staff are polite.

Great budget hotel”

Excellent staff. Great location. Take C6 exit from Ikebukuro Station it’s the closest. Everything you need is provided in the room plus a fresh pressed kimono daily. Lots of nearby 24 hr convenience stores. If I can get a good rate, will stay here again.

Lift is small. Only 1 pillow per bed n hair dryer not strong enough. Easy to find food n convenience shops. Walking distance from train station but make sure you exit from C6, otherwise you might lost your way.

Great Staff, clean room”

The location might be a bit far from the train station, but since I was familiar with the area, it wasn’t a big deal. The facility has 2 different elevator. That was a plus if you travel by yourself with 2 suitcases. It was really convenient. The guest was required to leave the key with the front desk if you left the property, which wasn’t a big deal because the staff was there 24/7. I requested a non-smoking room, which wasn’t available. However, the smoking room wasn’t having that strong smell. I’m not a smoker and normally the smell really bothers me, but not with the room I was provided. I will definitely stay here again.

Walking 10 mins from Ikebukuro at a budget price isn't too bad. It's a bit inconvenience that travelers need to return the key at a counter every time , staff are concern about this so much, it could be a plus for security issue, but this brings minor inconveniences . and no visiting guests allowed at the room too. Other than the above, is satisfactory.

The staff is very nice, room facilities are simple but enough. The breakfast is wonderful! Suggested to reserve it in advance, as it is reasonable priced. The only concern is location when I arrive there at night. However, if you follow the google map instruction to go the hotel, it is not difficult.

Close to Ikebukuro”

Convenient and comfortable. A good deal if you get a good Agoda price. There's a Yamaya international food store on the ground floor, so you can get some snacks that are more interesting than the usual convenience store fare. The headboard alarm clock wasn't working, but no problem since I could use my iPhone.

The building is a bit old, all equipment (faucets, mattress, lighting, door lock) are old as well. However, since it's an old structure, the room space is much bigger compare to other hotels. It is convenient for us coz we had 4 big luggages; however, for travelers who don't do shopping and prefer modern styles, Ohedo probably is not the first choice. Good location, 10 minutes walk from Ikebukuro station and staff very friendly and helpful.

Nice place in a cool spot”

I've stayed here before and chose it again for the friendly staff, large rooms and nice locations. Ikebukuro station is a short walk away and the property is close to the bus to Haneda Airport. Staff are very nice and speak English. Overall, this is a great hotel.
