Utmärkt läge med dyr frukost”
Hotel Tryp ligger precis vid Metro nr 8 och 9. Mycket bekvämt att ta sig ut på stan. Rummen ganska stor för att vara i Paris. Rent och snyggt, bra ljudisolerat, finns även rum för icke rökare. Hotell personalen kunde vara lite mer serviceinriktade, t ex att hälsa på morgonen när gästerna passerar. Frukosten var dyr, 19,90 euro per person.

Location is the best!!”
Pros - Great location, a metro stop in front of the hotel, altho because metro line 4 is being renovated, you will travel longer going here. Lots of restaurants outside, a shopping district a few hundred meters away. Staff really helpful. Cons - The hotel has airconditioning but they should post or inform customers on their ads that they don't open the A/C if the weather is cold outside. It was really warm inside the room, we opened the window instead but it was noisy outside. Other than the small elevator which can fit 2 people with luggages at best. There is nothing I can say more about the hotel. Will definitely go back when I visit Paris again.

Good hotel and good location, nice room, but the reception was rude and unhelpful. We asked them to do our laundry almost 48 hours before checking out and they said not possible.

Small but it did the job”
The staff was very friendly and helpful. I speak a little bit of French, but all of the staff were at least bilingual (French and English) some were even trilingual (Spanish as well). They were very accommodating. The room itself was quite small, but it was all I needed as a solo traveler. It was a great value for the money, and the location was perfect. Thank you for everything!

Fabulous room with a view! ”
Loved the room on the 4 th floor overlooking the street below. Although it does gets noisy but once you close the doors to the balcony it was ok. Location was wonderful as loads of restaurants around and beside the hotel with the metro right at the doorstep.

Breakfast was disapointing.The fruit was canned not fresh. The cooked food of bacon eggs sausage and potatoes was cold . The orange juice was diluted to the point of not tasting like real orange.The toaster burnt the bread if you did not remove it yourself. we chose to eat out after the first day.

Uncomfortable room”
It was bad. The mattress was sagging, ventilation is non-existing, shower was too same, ventilation in the toilet was terrible. Luckily we only stayed 2 nights.

Value for $$$”
Met our expectations of a mid-priced hotel. Room is small where we barely have space to open up 2 luggage bags but else is sufficiently equipped. We stayed at room 416 which is not facing the main road, hence it is not noisy at all at night. If you want a street view, be prepared to hear noise from the traffic and pubs nearby. Pictures of the websites are also misleading as the room has no kettle. Although you can ask for a small flask from the bar counter, we found that the kettle is rusty inside so we used hot tap water instead. Lifts are small too but we are just glad there are two. Location is great where Printemps and Lafayette are further down the same road. There is a Metro exit just outside the hotel entrance.

overall experience is good with super good location and many restaurant and fast food nearby. Metro is just few seconds distance away from hotel doorstep. the only bad point is the room size is too small for 2 person.
