Great Hotel, close to station, be ready to use google translate!”
Hotel is great, short walk from train station but the hosts very kindly still emailed me (in English) to pick me up with a van at the station. Hot spring bathes were amazing went 3 times in the next/morning I was there! The staff English is limited but using google translate to ask how to put on Yukata and other things was perfectly fine. Great for someone looking for an easy hot spring hotel and doesn't have much Japanese abillity.

Excellent hotel with good dinining and Onsen”
First stay in Hotel Togen. [Room]The room is facing to the Kurobe river and good view. Clean, cozy, bath room and toilet is separated. Nothing to mention the quality of the room. [Dining]They serve good dinner with finest sashimi quality and local beef, poke and veges. They serve Shiro-ebi (white shrimp) from Toyama gulf and it is so nice. The quantity of the meal is defenately good enough. The price for drink (sake, beer, softdrink) is very resonable and they have special Toyama sake. Also their breakfast is excellent with local Toyama rice. For Japanese, if they serve high quality rice, then it's good enough to enjoy the breakfast. They have two ladies from Taiwan working in the restaurant who speak perfect Japanese and they are very cheerful and work nicely that makes our trip pleasant. And some of the staff can speak English, so mostly no issue for communication. [Onsen]On top of good food, the quality of Onsen is very high. It's transparent but smells nicely that makes us confident it's real Onsen. You can take private onsen room reserved for your own. It's Roten (open air) onsen with big enough for the couple and it's worth trying(2000JPY for 45min). [Landry]They don't have landry machine in the hotel but there is coin landry within just 3 min walk (close to the foot onsen place). It also has drying machine. [Hotel service]They have pick up service from/to Unazuki station but the hotel is just 5-7 min walk away and you can enjoy walking. [Neighbor]Unazuki Onsen is not a big place but you can enjoy good nature, fresh air, beautifl river and also skiing in winter. We visited Keyaki daira taking Kurobe tram (torroko). We took 9am tram and back to the hotel at 2:30pm. It's quite exciting trip and you should experience it. There is Kurobegawa Denki Kinen-kan (Electric Memorial Museum)in front of Kurobe station and you can learn the history of Kurobe dam development. I'm very impressed how the people 60 years ago developped the Kurobe dam.

一泊兩食。房間較陳舊但尚算乾淨；晚餐豐盛，令人大快朵頤，員工也很有禮貌；早餐就相對簡單，毫不吸引。酒店外的風景也不錯。

スタッフの方々の対応も非常に良かったと思います。4泊でしたが毎晩メニューを駆使して頂いた様で満足でした。毎晩食べ過ぎで個人的に2㎏程度肥ってしまいました。
