Fantastic view”
Some hiccups with the shuttle bus arrangement as there was some confusion with location of boarding — we missed the slot we had booked and waited two more hours for the next bus. But the room we got was amazing. The photos we’d seen online prepared us mentally, but still we were floored by the gorgeous view of the waters, the 2 sprawling beds that had more than enough room for 2 adults, a young kid and a baby. The personal hammock in our room, alongside a lounge sofa... made us wish we’d come sans kids instead. The shower was great, facilities are obviously new and clean. The dinner was the usual forgettable fare, but remember to do yourself a favour and opt for the Japanese breakfast because it is delicious and offers a range of authentic and local fare. I felt sorry that I had to check out the next day.

It is a perfect place to enjoy for vacations. The resort has a lot of activies for families with kids, such as pools, kids loungd, nice restaurants, bycicles, and lumina etc.

Relaxing break by the sea”
We stayed in the Terrace Lodge and had a ground floor room which was huge. It had a private terrace with a hammock overlooking Nagasaki Port. There were two choices for breakfast, Japanese and Western. We later discovered that they were actually served in different restaurants. The western breakfast was served in the Terrace Lodge diner on site but the Japanese was served at the Uraraka restaurant which was a 10 min walk, over the bridge by the port and along the main road.....it was worth the walk - much better than the western option. The beach was nice and clean however on our second day there were diggers moving the sand around so we couldn't lay on the beach, I guess we travelled out of the Japanese holiday season so they were undertaking maintenance during our stay. This place would really benefit from a swimming pool to use when the beach is unavailable. We had a relaxing stay, the staff were polite and had good English despite the resort being aimed at a Japanese audience.

More food options- steak/teppanyaki. Also would like to have known we needed reservations for restaurants in advance. Shuttle was nice to have, beds and room were clean and comfortable. Nice spa!

Good hot spring hotel for children”
We stayed in “Nagi Hotel” with two little kids both of 1 year old. The hotel can accommodate two baby cribs (or cots) in the room. The room view is lovely with a big terrace facing the ocean. We chose the half board option so we didn’t need to worry about food. There is a kids playroom which was fantastic. The location is perfect if you have a car. It is like going to a resort in the mid Pacific (except the temperature as we were there in Oct).

Quiet and a bit of drive out of town, but the modern villas are excellent. Dinner and breakfast services are also very good.

Inconvienient”
This hotel is inconvenient. You needed to take a bus to go to a restaurant or the public bath. There is no beach at the hotel. Also, you needed to make a reservation for breakfast. And then despite the restaurant being mostly empty they seated my wife and I in the worst seat in the restaurant- a small section in the corner with a small window. And the breakfast was a small sandwich. I was still hungry after eating it and had to buy a pastry in their bakery. For the price of this room a buffet breakfast is usually offered at most hotels. I would not recommend this hotel.
