I stayed in theIr cheapest room for 3D2N with a friend hoping to recharge after a tiring week’s work. From the lobby, a grandiose affair with a glass wall that sees thru to the pool and beach, with the beautiful and attentive Ms. Jackie in reception, to the bellhops, housekeeping (Mr. Shahid), gardeners, pool boys, maintenance personnel, Ms. Shakila in food concierge...they are all courteous and attentive. You cannot fault anything with the interior, architecture and amenities of this hotel. Our superior room (city view) is the cheapest- but you feel like you are in a suite room. The room is spacious with opulent furnishings. It has a bathtub which honeymooners can put into good use. If not, you can swim in their infinity pool. Got kids? They have a separate kiddie pool. Once you get up in the morning, you can go to THE KITCHEN. Not only do they serve a variety of dishes (Indian, Omani, Continental, etc), they are all delicious. (I made a point to try.). More importantly, the Manager Mr. Kiran, together with his staff, Ms. Ruby, Mr. Muhammad Al Siyabi, Mr. Michael, Ms. Evangeline, and Mr. Ahmed, among others (I could not get the Chefs’ names) will greet you with a smile on their faces and meticulously cater to your every gastronomic wishes. The Kitchen rocks breakfast!!! For lunch, you can get out of the hotel and walk about 10mins and choose from the restaurants on the marina plaza. Feeling lazy and don’t want to go out? They have In-Room Dining. Very courteous men and women will deliver your order to your room in a paper bag and eco-friendly cutlery (a huge plus on my book). This hotel is doing its best to be environmentally and Covid responsible. All the staff are wearing masks and gloves. Safety kits containing gloves, masks, and sanitizers are found in the room. If you fancy tea time, Mr. Mehdi and Ms. Gloria at AMWAJ will guide you through the menu. Try the Omani Afternoon Tea (we chose chamomile). It was delicious. Try also their lobby house drink- refreshing

Overall a fabulous stay at a beautiful resort. Staff were excellent and the room was everything we'd expected. They didn't have a king size room for us at check in (we'd booked the Deluxe Sea View) and so they kindly upgraded us to a Grand Deluxe Room which was very spacious and comfortable. The access to the beach was amazing. We preferred that over the pool as it was more private and away from other visitors (you can choose a quiet spot for you and your family along the coast). Breakfast buffet was also nice, a lot of options to choose from. Overall a great stay - the only small point for improvement is the AC in the rooms are setup on an automatic sensor. If doesn't detect movement in a 30 min period, it automatically sets the AC to 24 degrees. Not great when you're asleep and the sensor doesn't detect you, or if you pop out for a short trip and come back to a warm room! The rooms do take a while to get cooler (given the intense heat outside) so this functionality was frustrating. Apart from that, a 5* stay

Stayed for a week with husband and two children in the Grand Deluxe suite with a breathtaking sea view. . Occassion was our 10th wedding anniversary and my birthday. The Lady in Red and the Kempinski Muscat staff went out of their way to make our stay memorable and pleasant. Checked into the room to find red rose petals tastefully scattered in the bedroom and bathroom. Not only that, there was also a lovely bouquet of flowers, an anniversary cake and exquisite array of other sweet desserts. We were also given a choice of complimentary dinner or spa treatment. Chose the former. The food and service at The Kitchen restaurant was faultless. There was an extensive buffet array at both the breakfast and dinner services and the chefs were also willing to prepare special orders. Only regret was that the children's pool was closed for maintenance during our stay but we had other options. The kids also enjoyed attending Dippy's Club- a complimentary childminding service.

Room service menu it is more than good with delicious items. Swimming pool clean and tidy all the time and it has on private beach. . On of the top notch hotel in Oman, clean, modern and family oriented. Pool has a life guard during specific swimming hours and has free use of floaters/life jackets for kids. A clean and fine private beach that whole family will enjoy. Resto and staff service are excellent. In addition to that they have a kids club for our young ones. Overall, it is highly recommended hotel.

I had problem with my booking, the staffs couldn’t find it in their system. However the staffs were very helpful and friendly while trying to solve the issue. The hotel room is elegant and modern. I loved the morning view while I was waiting to catch the golden hour before sunrise, hearing the birds chirping were like music to my ears. Would love to go back again!

We stayed for one night in the Kempinski because we had to see a Doctor next morning. It is well located and walking distance to the restaurants in the wave. The hotel is amazing (for my taste a bit to big). Nice long pool overlooking the ocean. Since we stayed for the first time we got an upgrade to a beach view room, wow. Excellent and big breakfast buffet and very friendly personal. If there is a downside then just the walk from one wing to the other!
