Fint hotell med hjälpsam personal”
Det första som möter oss är e vacker entré och reception. På borden står vackra arrangemang av levande blommor och i taket hänger en enorm kristallkrona. Personalen är vänlig och mycket hjälpsam. Rummen är rena och fräscha men något trångt, ingenstans att göra av resväskan. Frukostbuffe med mycket att välja på.

Very well located by Souq Waqif metro station (and a few minutes walk to the souq itself), it’s also a 10’ walk to the National Museum and corniche. Very affordable (about 200 QAR when I was there in 2022) and the staff are as friendly as anywhere in Qatar or the Gulf generally. The room is decent, and nice to have the microwave, mini-fridge, and kettle. There were no dishes or tableware, which would have helped (perhaps they can be borrowed from the downstairs dining, I didn’t ask). Especially over Ramadan those fasting could prepare suhoor early in the morning or non-fasters could have their breakfast in the privacy of the room.

The hotel is good enough for the money we paid. We enjoyed the facilities but not the food.”
Though the hotel smells old and not so clean, the staffs were polite, respectful and quick in delivering our request. The staffs at the reception area were patient, respectful and considerate especially Gosban. I think they have to improve their breakfast as the food caters only to European and Arabic decent guests but not so on asian decent guest.

Location was great, 5-10mins walk from metro and Souq Waqif. I only had problem that the place was a bit dusty as I noticed I had watery eyes during my stay, and a bit smell of cigarette. Staffs were nice, welcome and friendly.
