Nice private open bath Onsens. Great dinner and breakfast. Service has always been excellent in Japan hotels/ryokans. We Even get to enjoy 1 hour of live piano concerto at the lobby. This will be our return to stay Ryokan if we were to visit Kyushu again!

It was a amazing experience to stay in this hotel. The private and public hot spring are awesome with the view of sakurajima. Although the price is a bit expensive but its valuable. Must come back if visit kiroshima again.

Enjoying hot spring in the woods”
Great hospitality of all the staff. They attended to all details of our stay even we we are buying souvenirs. They helped us choose the best performed toy in the rack.(隱者打跟斗) 😆 The room is big and clean, especially the bed-sheet. We had a nice cosy sleep. The hot spring was good in particular the outdoor private one. but you have to precook before you check-in. The food for dinner and breakfast was average. The hotel is up in the hill. Outside the hotel, there is a 15 minutes trail to the waterfall which was stunning. They gave guests red bean buns for free in the lobby which was really a treat in the cold winter. We would come back again if we visit Kirishima again.

Staffs are all helpful. It’s great that we can reserve a 45 mins hot spring and even can meet deers on the way of hot spring!!!

Hotel staff are very friendly and accommodating. Nice traditional breakfast and dinner included in our booking (restaurant has a good vieW of Sakurajima. Our room is also the traditional Japanese style room and with good sakurajima view.. Enjoy the private onsen but be sure to reserve in advance. Will stay again if we visit the area again

overall great, nice onsen hotel, private onsen for you to book, happened to see deers in the morning both from the room balcony and private onsen. however, dinner servicing was a bit rushed, served desert while still having the hotpot like wanting us to finish asap. but other than that everything else was great
