High Service Level and Value for Money”
Value for Money- certainly value for money if you compare to other ryokans in Kusatsu. the dinner (semi buffet style) is pretty good. Location- it is not in a convenient location, but the shuttle bus makes up for it (shuttle bus service from Karuizawa is available, but reservation is required) Cleanliness- rooms and facilities are clean Staffs- communication with the staff is not a problem even if you cant speak Japanese. Staffs are also very helpful, and even reminded me of the shuttle bus service upon checking out. Facilities- facilities are adequate and well maintained. english instructions are provided on using the onsen

Went with my mother for holiday. The room is on the smaller side but very cozy. The onsen and food were the best parts of the stay very satisfied overall.

The hotel staff was super friendly and spoke great English. The room was very spacious!! Probably the biggest room I've ever had staying in Japan. The hotel had a wonderful aesthetic charm to it, and I just loved the private outdoor onsen baths! The breakfast and dinners were authentic Japanese dishes and were delicious. The tea in the room was amazing as well. My ONLY issue was with the shuttle drive who picked me up. I asked him if he was going to Kusatsu Onsen in Japanese and he turned me away and told me to go to the opposite side of the station. He didn't ask for my name. I called the hotel using international data and they had the driver turn around and get me and sure enough, it was the same guy who turned me away. He didn't apologize to me at all, he only apologized to the two Japanese guests in the shuttle. The fact that he didn't apologize is what made me upset. Everything else though was perfect.

The hotel provides free shuttle bus services running between Kusatsu JR bus stop and the hotel, I found this is an important factor as they are located outside the main onsen area. Check in process was smooth and staffs were helpful. I personally found the temperature of onsen is comfortable, the outdoor onsen is quiet and relax. Food is delicious and there are good enough of varieties to try the local taste. We also used their free shuttle going to take a stroll at Yubatake at night. I also stayed at the hotel in Echigo-Yuzawa in the same hotel group which is a newer building but I would prefer this hotel.

The area is far away from the main attraction, but there is nothing which you need else in this resort, free parking is available with many lots, so driving is much recommended as there are more places to eat. The onsen is one of the best I have been to and there are so many choices internally.

New and very clean premises. Helpful staff. Private outdoor onsen is super! Wide range of yum food during dinner and breakfast. Have ramen at night, Yakult in the morning. A super value for money. Will come again.

Can enjoy the same equipment and onset spa. restaurant is a bit small but food is okay. only point is room doesn't have air conditioning for Cool, we have to open the window at night.

很好的日式酒店，酒店集团在日本很有名。和季的座共享温泉，不过季的座贵很多。跑了3次私汤。又去轻井泽的班车，很方便

唯一的缺点是位置不在草津温泉中心，但对我这种喜欢清静的人来说，太完美啦。提供轻井泽站的接送服务，温泉很好，早晚餐很棒，性价比满分
