Although the rooms needs some upgrading still was amazing. Massive bed, very combatable, little kitchen, seating area. The internet was not great but this did not bother me as I was using my private one. Breakfast was amazing, the best we were offered in Colombia. Staff very friendly, kind and professional. The area very safe, beautiful to walk around. I'd definitely stay there again.

Place needs some TLC staff better training”
Staff at check in could not figure out if I had paid already, I had and they kept me and friend there 45 minutes trying to figure it out, out no big deal but it was 4 am after 14 hours of travel. We were just a bit tired and wanted to sleep not deal with incompetence. Room was clean but definitely need some TLC on the maintenance.

Very nice hotel”
We booked this hotel because Agoda offered an unbeatable deal! It was less than $30 USD per night and we stayed for seven days so it ended up being $200 in total. Divide that by 2 and me and my roommate paid $100 each which was crazy! The hotel itself is a nice hotel, we were told by Agoda that we'd be getting a balcony in the room but that wasn't the case but we weren't too pressed by that. There was a kitchen in the room but we didn't use it. The only thing we didn't like was that we didn't get an outlet in the bedroom so we had to charge our electronics in the living area. The room was a suite, consisting of a two beds, a bathroom, a living/dining area and a small kitchen. The hotel breakfast was okay, it was fruits and I guess a typical Colombian breakfast which I wasn't used to and didn't like so much. They did make omelettes made to order which was nice. The food at the hotel is mediocre at best (their room service menu) so after the second day, we ate out.

We loved our stay in our suite. Breakfast was great, wifi in the lobby and common rooms is strong (100 mbps) but a little lacking in the rooms. Our room was sparkling clean & the staff was very helpful.

Overnight stay at the Lancaster”
The staff was accommodating enough, however check-in and check-out took far too long. The breakfast was truly memorable with some of the best and sweetest fruit I have had at a hotel. The facilities are OK, but no pool. The room a junior suite was enormous with a comfortable bed and nice bathroom with a tub. The room was clean, however I did sense that the builders had scrimped on fixtures because the materials used in its construction, i.e. flooring, trim, bathroom hand basin were done with cheap out of date materials. For example the border plate between the bedroom and bathroom was loose and not properly fitted. Another small inconvenience was that towels, sundries were set for only one individual rather than the two staying in the room. Considering the late hour we made do with one towel for two people. The location can be a good thing if you want to head to points North in a good part of Bogota, however as it is located over a major thoroughfare quite a bit of road noise can filter into the rooms, perhaps better sound proofing is in order. The value to cost ratio is excellent and cannot fault the hotel staff who were at all times professional with good English language skills. I feel that if it had a pool it would justify its 4 star rating.

amazing Art Deco style hotel”
We stayed one night only between two planes. our suite was amazing- 70-80 sq meters ans tastefully decorarated in art deco style. two bathrooms, two bedrooms, large sitting room etc etc a whole big apartment for us. The breakfast was very nice. The consierge Fausto has helpfully resolved a complicated personal issue, without him in would never work! He also provided us with a nice car for sightseeing and that later has brought us to the airport. This hotel can be higly recommended.

Clean big room, beware taxes and bogus insurance”
The rooms are nice, gym is very small and not worth going to, sauna is paid, taxes are on top and beware a hotel insurance fee that was not mentioned until the end, luckily the manager reversed the charges when disputed... Don't order room service late at night

Its The Staff Who Make a Hotel Great”
The room was spacious, clean, modern with great furniture and such a comfortable big bed . Free WI-FI and a New Chef who made some great dishes for me in the restaurant there was also a very friendly guy at the reception from New York who spoke perfect English and printed out lots of things to do and see in Bogota all in all a Great Hotel with friendly and helpful staff who made me feel so welcome .
