No ac’s working ”
The worst experience. The charges are more than a 5star hotel and rooms have no Ac’s. In such a big hotel only one floor was open for guests. There were cockroaches and no Ac on the entire floor. We had to check in to another hotel. They did not even refund the money.

Restaurant was never Ready for Guests. No Uniform was worn.. never sure who was actually Staff. All Breakfast was Cold. Very Confused Staff... Cant speak English. We asked for a second towel in a double room....We WAITED 2 days for our second towel after reminding them 4 Times.. They are Under Staffed with Check In. The Toilets in 5 of the 6 Rooms was Blocked everyday... The Rooms are Very Spacious and Clean. Good Value for Money.. But above Negatives needs some Serious Attention

Not AFECC but Oh-Feck!”
We booked two rooms separately through Agoda about a week apart. However we had emailed Afecc Hotel directly asking them for connecting rooms as we were travelling with out children aged 11 and 8 years old. They replied confirming connecting rooms. A king room and a twin room was confirmed. On arrival we were told there wasn't connecting rooms available (this in a hotel that barely had anyone bar us staying there), but that they would put us in two rooms next to each other. FORTY minutes later we were given our room keys, it was now almost 22:30. Walk out of the lift to find that one room is to the left of lift and other room is to the right... so certainly not next to each other!!! Also, both rooms king rooms which meant the adults needed to split up and have a child each. The rooms smelt of cigarette smoke even after booking a smoke free room. In mine there were cigarette butt's on the balcony floor. The rooms hadn't been cleaned or disinfected in more than a month the according to the schedule on the bathroom door. The shower didn't work neither did the TV in any of our rooms. At check-out the next morning we had to wait almost 2 hours to speak to the manager. After another hour showing him photos and him apologizing and promising to re-imburse us at least one of the rooms due to all the hassles and bad experience.... when it came to actually refunding us, Mr Xuan (the hotel manager) made all kinds of excuses to not pay, saying that the machines weren't working, etc. For a 5 * hotel I am totally disgusted with their offering and services and will certainly never be able to recommend them!!!

This is a very nice hotel with a great view. The architecture is superb. I would easily give it a 5 star except for a few minor things. The shower drain was very slow. We would end up in an overflowing puddle of we didn't turn off the tap now and then when we were showering. The toilet didn't flush properly. We reported this to one of the cleaners but when we came back it was stil the same. The sheets and towels were white and clean but had a stale smell. Other than that we loved the hotel

The hotel still offers value for money however there are a few things that need to improve pronto. Breakfast is extremely disappointing as it is getting worse every time I stay in- we used to bring clients for breakfast not anymore. The carpets in the rooms looks tired and dirty- I stay in two different room on this trip. The staff is good and tries hard. The Chinese restaurant is fantastic. The hotel starts losing its shine very fast. It is a pity really.

The hotel rooms are very spacious, with fantastic views. The hotel has a mall and casino that tends to be noisy at night for light sleepers. The breakfast menu caters for all travelers, but it does cater mostly for the Asian market. It was a pleasant stay with staff who are willing to go out of the way to ensure guests are comfortable. Its location is ideal for those on holiday and business.

Housekeeping service needs improvement. We ordered burgers and they arrive 2 hours late.”
Rooms were not cleaned properly and were cleaned very late. On Sunday they only cleaned our room at 19:00.

This is definitely not a 5 star hotel. 1. the breakfast options are shocking; the bacon was fatty and looked really unhealthy; 2. the pool had fungi all over the bottom; 3. no deck chairs around the pool, actually no chairs at all; 4. the staff working in the dining area have not been properly trained and you can see that they work in fear. 5.towels in the rooms are of poor quality and we always had to ask for hand towel. 6. More importantly when we checked in the hotel wanted to charge us a higher rate and not what we were quoted by Agoda.
