Yangon is a brilliantly hectic and incredibly hot Asian metropolis and towering in the midst of this is the Melia! An oasis that provides the perfect place to escape to refresh and relax. Stunning views of Inya Lake. You can sit back and enjoy sunsets as they explode across the sky bringing sensory delight. The rooms that are generous and incredibly relaxing. The food is really good! There is an atmosphere of kindness and friendliness coupled with an attitude of "nothing is too much of a bother" so the service is impeccable! There is great access to downtown Yangon and to the best shops and cafes. The pool is great for children and the mall next door provides some fun play areas too! Melia really does provide something special for every sort of traveller whether solo or with family! Couldn't come more highly recommended.

The hotel is location is about 20mins ride from the airport and it is linked to Myanmar plaza (shopping mall). The best part of my stay is the super king bed which I enjoyed very much. Allows me to rest comfortably

I stayed at Melia for a week in early Dec 2019. It is at very good location at it is linked to Myanmar Plaza and beautiful Inya Lake at the front. Lobby is spacious and beautifully decorated. Gym and Swimming Pool are well equipped, clean and well maintained. The room I stayed is spacious. Staff are polite and always offer to help us if needed. Win Tun and Alex from Pool and Gym are very friendly and helpful. We will not hesitate to stay there one more time and to recommend others. Stay at Melia will never disappoint you!

I have stayed most of Yangon top hotels, but this Media was exceptional good. I stayed level room which allowed access to private lounge. Beside good breakfast it was very nice sit there during sunset. It had nice views to lake and Swegoda wat. Staff was also very nice and professional. Beside it is located next Myanmar Plaza which I suggest is largest shopping center with some reasonable priced restaurants.

Staff are friendly and helpful, easy to discuss on any concern you had to deal with (deposit,checkout time,water bottle). The room have many source of plugs and the TV is huge! There are many channels offered and eventhough you have to ask for iron, they send it to your room asap. Really glad i chose this hotel for my stay.

The breakfast is fantastic and has a play area for the kids. Also, the Melia is conveniently located next to a shopping mall. The rooms are well-sized, the staff helpful, and the hotel is clean and well-maintained. This was our third stay.
