One of the best stays I had!”
This is by far one of the most amazing stays I had in awhile. Everything is so wonderful that I cannot be thankful enough for the staff and their hospitality. Location- 9/10 - it is very convenient where you can take a bus there. The hill is a bit too much for some people but I am okay. They have shuttle bus if you need it. Staff- 10/10 - the staff here are amazing as they are super professional and friendly like many Japanese are. They greeted me and try to use English to communicate with me. I always feel so respected. When I had my kaiseki at my room. The staff patiently explained every dish and how to eat it. The experience was unforgettable. Food- 10/10 - during my stay, I had both Japanese kaiseki and breakfast. Each of them is extremely good. There isn't anything I don't love. Every dish is unforgettable delicious. The ingredients they use are so fresh. Room- 10/10 - WOW! This is the reason I paid so much for this location as Mt. Fuji is right in front of my patio. You get to enjoy the view without going anywhere. The room is super clean and comfortable. Overall, the price is totally worth the experiences I had. I have to say a big thank-you for making this trip so unforgettable. ありがとうございます！

Really Excellent Stay”
I really enjoyed my stay at Mizno. Firstly would like to commend all the staff for being really friendly, polite and cheerful. They made the stay really wonderful and homely. They could also speak English well, which was very helpful for us. Room was excellent and spacious, comfortable bed, cosy, very clean (thanks to the cleaning team), and with great view of the Mount Fuji and lake. There were many lounging areas within the hotel for you to enjoy the view or just relax and read a book, which was really comfortable, quiet and peaceful. The breakfast and dinner provided was excellent in taste and presented really prettily too. The hotel also provided complimentary coffee and tea in the morning at the 1st level. The onsen and sauna was great too, both times that I used it, there was only 1-2 people other than me. I will definitely visit again when I come to Mount Fuji in future. Thanks to the hotel staff for making the stay extra special.

Love this unique boutique hotel!”
The hotel staff are very attentive and caring to the customers. We were greeted by a very nice lady at the reception upon arrival. Also you can ask for a free shuttle service at the train station, it will only take them 5-10 mins to arrive. The dinner and breakfast was also top notch with lots of surprizes, and bonus is you are dining with such a great mount fuji view, it really is amazing~ During x'mas the hotel has decorated the place very nicely, creating a great vibe. I also love the library on the ground floor, there is a range of books from design to novelty books. I also got up early to see the sunrise, onsen was also very clean and well maintained. Love this hotel and I will definitely recommend it!!

Amazing place with an amazing view, friendly staff, and great ambiance”
I stayed here for a night with my wife. We had planned this trip to get a great view of Mt. Fuji. Our room had an amazing view (302) and we loved spending time in the afternoon taking pictures and watching the Mt. Fuji disappear in the clouds. The hotel’s bar and reading space are very cool. They make you feel in a warm place where you can enjoy a great Japanese whiskey whilst reading or having a talk. The room was modern, clean, and very inviting. The staff is very friendly and if you are willing, they will give you great recommendations on local bars and restaurants. Really enjoyed my stay.

Amazing stay! ”
The highlight of my trip thus far would be this hotel. Each room features views of Lake Kawaguchiko and (if you're lucky and it's a cloudless day) Mount Fuji. Service was impeccable (the staff were all so kind and friendly) and the food was great too. My traveling companion and I very much enjoyed the use of the onsen too. The rooms were quiet and very clean, and very very comfortable. And the hotel offers a shuttle service during certain hours to and from Kawaguchiko station. The hotel is situated on a cliff though, which is a bit of a steep climb from the bottom. Overall, really enjoyed my stay and would choose Mizno Hotel again if I return to Kawaguchiko

Super View of Mount Fuji and Excellent Service”
Because the hotel is located on a higher ground, it offers an excellent view of Mount Fuji and the lake. All the rooms face Mount Fuji. Recommended to make use of the hotel free pick up transport from Kawaguchiko station as the walk up the slope leading to the hotel is steep. Without luggage, the slope is still somehow manageable. A sightseeing bus stop is conveniently located at the base of the slope. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Hotel offers free hot bath. Alternatively, private outdoor bath for 2 is available at a price with 2 glasses of sparkling wine. Limited slots per day and subject to first come first serve. Best to reserve it upon arrival.

Absolutely fantastic ”
Mizno hotel is a beautiful hotel and in the best location for views of Mount Fuji as we as easy access to restaurants and local amenities. Not a single detail was missed anywhere in the hotel. The facilities were unbelievable value for money. Our rooms were stunning and were the comfiest we stayed in throughout our whole stay in Japan. The breakfast is superb but the thing that makes this hotel so special is the staff. I have never met such accommodating, friendly and helpful staff in a hotel. Nothing was ever too much trouble. They made our experience go above and beyond every expectation we had. Before we arrived, they were easy to contact and so helpful. From advising us on routes to get to them from Tokyo, to specially preparing an alternative vegetarian menu for us, the staff were just exceptional. The barman also heard it was my dads birthday and brought over a complimentary drink! I cannot recommend this hotel enough. We would of happily stayed another 5 days if we could! Thank you so much for making our stay in Mount Fuji unforgettable!

Perfect Stay”
I have stayed one night only in Mizno but this is my favorite night for my whole trip in Tokyo. The room is clean and spacious, with coffee machine and yoga mat included, my first time to see a yoga mat in guest room! The balcony is amazing, with full view of Mt. Fuji and lake, I enjoyed the night view and sunrise of Mt. Fuji from balcony. Mt. Fuji is just in front of you when you first open your eyes in the morning. Friendly staffs and thank you for offering me free breakfast :) I enjoyed the hot spring as well, also super nice view of Mt. Fuji there.

Best Hotel Service, Location, Food”
This hotel is one of greatest I've ever stayed at, and I've been fortunate to have stayed at many Ritz Carltons and other high end hotels previously. Everything was exceptional here. When you arrive, you immediately enter what looks like a library, with a fun eclectic design that works in a cohesive way. No detail was missed. There's a bar and lounging/reading area with wonderful artwork and images of famous movie stars. The meals are delicious high-end foodie worthy meals that are well worth the payment. High quality French or Japanese food. I needed help to plan how to get to Kyoto and not only did they offer the best, easiest and most economical way, they also wrote the instructions in English and Japanese. Then after drop off, walked me to the window to purchase the tickets. The rooms (western style) had Japanese flair, Kimono robes, usb & plugs aplenty. And stunning views of Mt Fuji and the lake. The only problem: we had to leave. All other hotels should strive to be this good.

Simply Outstanding in All Ways”
We arrived for a one night stay and by the end of it wished we had booked for two nights. The staff was outstanding in every way. We were shown the property (filled with interesting paintings and art) by Jeanne, who would be an 11 on a 1-10 scale. Our room was very tastefully furnished with an individual terrace and view that was out of this world (we were on the fourth floor). Bar on top floor very nice and the onsen had an indoor or outdoor facility that was just excellent. Finally, the Japanese breakfast we enjoyed the next morning was a delightful and really interesting meal. Simply top notch. The only negative that could be mentioned here was that Mt. Fuji was fog topped and not fully viewable. But the outstanding treatment at the hotel more than made up for that. We will definitely return and take our chances seeing The sacred mountain without the fog.

Hotel Mizno was quiet and calm place to rest. It was fantastic and I was satisfied for everything. Onsen was pretty good and the water was hot enough. Room condition was neat and everything was well-placed. Especially I love the traditional clothes(called Ukata) they prepared. I'd like to but it lol. :) I met a graceful lady who came from Macau. she said that she visit here in every year at winter season. I admired her and was pleasant with this hotel. because it makes me think this hotel is wonderful to all the people. The Fuji Mountain was great and mysterious. I saw the mountain clearly on that day I left. I almost cried. I'm gonna visit this hotel mizno again. and Thanks to every people who work there. They were very kind. Thank you!

Extremely helpful staff, very nice food and decoration ”
I would like to express my sincere gratitute to the hotel staff. My friend and I arrived at the hotel 4 hours earlier than the check in time because we were all wet and tired after a two-day hiking at Mt Fuji. They greeted us, explained that they were sorry that they couldnt accomodate us this early because the room was not ready yet but they were kind enough to offer to drive us to a local onsen to fresh up. They sent car to pick us up after we hanged around for a couple of hours, and drove us back to hotel and checked us in. Then I found my passport is missing and most likely is lost in Mt Fuji. The staff helped me called several places to see if anyone has found my passport and eventaully helped me explained the case to the local police, made the missing report and helped me contact the embassy. It was impossible for me to solve this problem without their help. They were very polite, efficient, engaging and patient. Of course the hotel itself is also a very rewarding destination.

This was the second time I stayed in this hotel and totally loved it again. It is a modern and comfortable hotel vs the many pricey yet worn out other options in the same area. They have cozy spots to relax everywhere in the hotel. The views on Mount Fuji are spectacular and u should definitely try the private onsen on the roof. The restaurant provides exquisite meals and the service at the front desk is warm and makes u feel home straight away. Going back for sure

The hotel (restaurant, room, private onsen) had an excellent view of Mt Fuji. The meals were sumptuous, so we highly recommend to choose room with breakfast and kaiseki dinner. The staff were very warm, helpful and able to communicate in English. Room was very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay there. Amazing hotel with impeccable service”
We stayed for just 3 nights but it was the best time we had during our two weeks vacation in Japan. Prior to our visit, the hotel had already contacted us to discuss about our meals and especially so to find out if my 11 year old had any food allergies and required any special meals. The shuttle bus arrived promptly to pick us up from the train station. Checking in was a breeze and they even served us tea even though there wasn't a need to wait to get our room keys. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. We tried both the Japanese and Western rooms. No complaints, only praises for the thoughtfulness and thorough cleanliness. The view from the room was no doubt one of the best around Kawaguchiko. The hotel also made sure we were well fed with the sumptuous meals they served us for both breakfast and dinner. Food was prepared with utmost attention to detail. Yet they were still warm to eat and simply delicious. The restaurant staff took care of us well and made sure we took our time to enjoy the food before serving the next dish. Words cannot describe how grateful I am to all the staff for making our stay so wonderful. Thank you so much!

Exceeded our expectations!”
Our first time to Kawaguchiko and Mizno hotel did not disappoint at all! A very lovely boutique hotel with thoughtful designs, art/paintings/collectable items throughout every floors, cool bar in the lobby and also on the rooftop, amazing viewing platforms too. We booked the private spa on the rooftop and it was a really great experience soaking in a hot bath in the outdoors under the stars. The hotel was located on a small hill so the view over the lake and Mount Fuji was tops! Hotel also arranged shuttle to the train station so it was really convenient. Very professional staff. My partner was allergic to seafood so they actually altered the dinner to create a menu that he can eat and we are extremely grateful for that. Oh and the dinner/breakfast were absolutely amaaaazing!

Beautiful Hotel”
The room was awesome. Service was super. The view of the lake and mnt fuji was worth every penny. Dinner in room and breakfast was delicious. Room was clean. Free bike rental. I could sit on the balcony all day or their library /lobby/bar area. So cozy. I recommend taxi or their shuttle though bc its a pretty long hike up a steep hill with luggages. Excellent highly recommended

Absolutely Breathtaking and Gorgeous hotel with exceptional service”
Hotel was gorgeous, the hotel has the magnificent view of mt fuji as well as the lake. They were very generous to upgrade me to a room which is spacious, and with a fantastic close up view of Mt Fuji. Hotel staffs were so friendly and could converse very well in english. Onsen was good, only thing i felt that the outdoor onsen water was bit too cold for my liking. However, the indoor onsen was just the right temperature. Hotel has shutter bus service in the morning at 30mins interval to the station and even to some attraction area dropped off. Overall the experience is the best i had in Japan. Would definitely love coming back here again.

Amazing Balcony and Onsen view of Fuji”
We were lucky because day of check-in, it was rainy and you couldn't see anything. The next morning, we awoke to a stunning, completely clear view of Fuji from our private balcony. Made it so worth it. I was kicking myself for not having brought the ring along to propose to my gf here instead of on the next trip. The outdoor onsen was also amazing because we had the view. The rooftop has an expansive view as well so make sure to check that out! Lastly the breakfast was amazing and beautifully made. Highly recommend to anyone. Also the largest room by size we stayed in Japan the whole trip.

Awesome service, awesome view and food”
Me and husband spent two nights there, it's well worth the money! All the staff were very friendly and thoughtful; started even before we arrived. I exchanged messages with one of the staff on Agoda app and he/she gave us all the info we needed for late arrivals, even mentioned that there would be fireworks during our stay. The dining experience was high class. I could barely finish the food but I did anyway because they looked and tasted good. We could see Mt. Fuji from our room, the public bath (with big window), rooftop, the dining area, etc. Would very much like to return.
