Amazing value for Moorea. Tama was super helpful with every aspect of our stay and made sure we were happy. If your looking to surf make sure to go out on a boat trip with him. Also has paddle boards and kayaks free to use which is a great bonus.

Conformable bed. We cooked, played pool and relaxed. I saw kayaks, surf boards and maybe a paddle board. Didn't try any of those. Stayed 3 nights. Microwave Didn't work. We had a little trouble finding the place. Just call very nice owner.

Basic, you get what you pay for… it’s ok, more like a back packers hostel… no food options but a kitchen available if you gave a car you can get to food shops, too far to walk

A very nice place to enjoy Morea!”
We stayed at Minas place for 5 days and it was perfect! Although the weather was not the best at this time, we had everything we needed. Everything is very clean and comfortable. In the saloon/ kitchen you have everything you need for cooking like oil and spices. It is also possible to play table tennis and billjard. In the Garden there is a sun plateau and directly the ocean. You can see beautiful sunsets there. Mina and her son run the Place and they are wonderful people ! I can only recommend

Great little inn with lots of thoughtful extras. It’s on the remote side of the island so rental car is a must. 10-15 min drive to restaurant or grocery store. No AC but they have good fans. Wear mosquito repellent! Very buggy.

Best Local Experience with Surfing, Snorkeling, Kayaking, and more”
I came as a solo traveler and was welcomed to Moorea Surf Inn with open arms. Tama is an incredible host with a wealth of knowledge to make your stay in Moorea epic. The famous Haapiti surf break is right in the backyard of this bay front property with tremendous views of the valley and surrounding mountains in Moorea. They have a huge deck you can stargaze from every night. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, surrounded by beautiful plants, coconut trees, and flowers all over. They have a kitchen you can use when you buy groceries from the local supermarket. You can also snorkel right inside the lagoon with a short walk out to the reef. They have bicycles, kayaks on the property too. There is a local Roulotte food truck right across the street where you can find local food. When you hire Tama to take you surfing, he offers his local knowledge and experience to catch the best waves, and sometimes you'll see turtles, dolphins, and whales during the right season. Tama is an awesome surfer too! There's an abundance of wildlife everywhere and I wouldn't stay anywhere else on Moorea. I booked 3 nights and ended up staying a whole week. Thank you Tama for the most memorable and epic local experience in Moorea. -Cliff

Very nice host! Good location if you want to go surfing. You can rent a board there and if you want the host takes you with his boat to a nice spot. But remember to bring some anti mozzy spray. ;-)

The place was great, everyone was super friendly and very helpful. It is quiet with a great view of the lagoon. The deck is great for morning cofee or night star gazing. I would definitely stay here again

Great place; wonderful owner”
We loved staying here. The owner, Tama, is the best. He actually brought me the shoes I forgot right before we left on the ferry. Beautiful deck overlooking the Pacific. Rooms are very simple but clean, our neighbors at the place were terrific. Great for surfers.

Great, relaxed place”
Tamas, the owner, was extremely helpful and nice! On the terrace, we watched perhaps the most beautiful sunsets from all our trips in French Polynesia and afterwards, the sky full of stars. Feeling at ease and enjoying wonderful nature and the company of other nice people staying at the hotel! I would recommend to have a car though, although anywhere in Moorea it would be highly recommended, at least for part of the time. There were bikes provided to go to a supermarket or so though.
