The pluses are the beaches and the premises.. the rest is a great disappointment, from the service, to the cleaniness, to the room.. Many issues encountered. Will not stay again. A shame as the hotel itself is quite beautiful.. but managed poorly

Good Facilities and clean outdoors ”
I liked the stay but was not happy with the room as the furniture is too old and they only clean the room every “48hors”. We stayed 5 nights and our room was only cleaned once! We did inform them but they hardly answer room service so we told the front desk and still not cleaned, so we had to re use all the towels there. Loved the Sea Activities, the Hors place and the area and view

5 star hotel but not western standard”
When we research Sharm el Sheikh it shocked us that quality if far away, the hotels are dated and there is no modern hotel. This hotel comes the closed to our liking. Perfect location Naama bay, great. What we did not know is that it was awhile ago a Sofitel hotel (really high end brand). We stayed at the room 2401 a standard room but perfect view of the sea but we stayed next to the elevator so if we open the curtains people can see straight into our room. Size of the room is perfect nice size with a little seat area and a nice sized terrace. Luckily we are near the breakfast restaurant because a lot of things is a bit walking distance, also I recommend during night to walk not through the corridors but in the open due to it keep heat in. The bathroom is quite night updated but when look closely there are some points of improvement. Quality of the breakfast could be better for a 5 star hotel. Free parking!!! recommend! For the money we paid for 66 euro a night well worth. 7.5/10

Only good for package tours”
If you look for a huge hotel that gives you the feeling to be in Egypt this is the place. Seems to be mainly frequented by package tourists, as individual traveller it all feels a bit too big. The breakfast has a lot of choice but quality is low. Most strange experience: at checkout they called us a taxi to the airport. This was actually an uber type of normal car, we had to pay 20 EURO to the staff who probably booked the car for half. Did not leave us with a good feeling.

Not nice this year when i went level is dropped from last year ”
The level of the hotel is decreased from last year starting by the room very far high up not nice try to change but no use they offered bad room The room service is very low everything u have to ask for it The breakfast was ok but long lines for the egg and if u ask for something like hot milk took twenty minutes after already finish our food The swimming pool chairs not always available also one time the towels is not available The hotel level is going down from the last year unfortunetly if i plan to go to sharm next yeat defenitivly ill change the hotel and go to another one iam disappointed really

All 298 rooms in our hotel have a sea view, however, if there was something not up to your expectation, I am sure the reception team would be glad to offer you another room if you addressed your concern during your stay. The limo company are a vendor at our hotel and we cannot influence their pricing policy. However, we offer a complimentary shuttle bus to Naama Bay every evening and we also offer airport transfers by hotel mini bus. As for the Internet speed and quality, we are currently working on upgrading our system to higher speed WiFi. I hope you will come to our hotel again and see the positive changes. I really appreciated the calmness and nice location. We were offered a good room overviewing the pool area but not too close and also had a nice view of the sunset each evening. The food was well varied and delicious. Gym facility was also at par or better than most hotel-gyms and had all the necessities. I recommend this place because of the facility, friendly staff and great private beaches. Me and my wife will be back!

I have to say that Movenpick Sharm El Sheikh is one of finest hotels that I stayed at. even though it is an old resort, but they are keeping it in a good shape. I loved every details of its architecture. whenever I'm back in Sharm, Movenpick will be my choice
