Amazing experience with excellent views and short term staff”
It was an amazing experience from the very first time I arrived in town, with sea ahead and mountain surrounds. Check in was easy and I was given a useful map of key locations in town such as the market, food, shrines and bus stops. When I saw the room I gave a 5 star rating as the view was spectacular for the price and far beyond expectations. I only wish I could have rated it higher as the short term staff members were amazing and have made this my favourite stay in over a month of traveling across Japan and South Korea by inviting a stranger (me) for a movie, food, festivals and even karaoke!

An escape to the golden sunrise and ocean”
We love the quiet homelike stay at Nagasaki House Burabura in a small scenic fishing town. We were supposed to just stay a night but we just had to stay another night - wish we could stay longer but our schedule did not permit. We hope to return again for a longer stay.

The place is beautiful, between Japanese traditional and guesthouse with a nice ambiance. My sister is disabled and the owner after being acknowledged of the situation has decided to uprade us to a better and more comfortable room on the 2nd floor instead of the 3rd, without any extra charge to it. Thank you for everything!

Nagasaki House Burabura is about the people. Great for travelers who wish to make friends and feel at home. Rooms have large window which overlooks the beautiful ocean. The shared bathroom however needs improvement. Need to pay for use of towels at 100 JPY each. We liked it enough to stay 2 nights from our original plan of 1 night - we were on a self-drive road trip and only planned to stay a night at each stop. There is bus service that stops right in front of the house every 20 minutes. A short walk of about 10-15 minutes to fishing wharf/shops.

Fantastiskt”
Burabura is located a bit far away from the Nagasaki city, but easy to access by bus, only 3mins walk from the bus stop. Warm and friendly staffs, the room is clear and comfortable. I really enjoyed the ocean view, although it’s a bit cool here! Like this place very much, thank you :)

Everything is ok but you have to adjust your time to get shower as there is fixed schedule for guests to use the bathroom.

Inaccurate reservation”
Overall a very plain accommodation. I booked a single private room via AGODA, upon checking in, the receptionist told me it's for a dorm room bed, n request that I pay additional ¥1500 if I wanted the room I booked for. Sounds like a rip-off? I think so.

I miss BURABURA”
I visited burabura in 26~28 only 2 days. Burabura is located in Mogi village and It's a little hard to go at the first time. but You will love this village and burabura soon. I miss Burabura already. Staffs are so kind and view that is seen in the room is freaking awesome. I really recommend this guesthouse. and I hope to visit again too.

A guesthouse made from Japanese ryokan ”
This is a special in the sense that it was formerly a ryokan (Japanese ryokan), hence you will see the same layout as you would see in a ryokan. We had a very big tatami room (which was used for a banquet I believe) for just 3 of us. There weren’t that many guests that night, so only few people were there in a very large building. It was a bit creepy but it was also a unique experience. The guesthouse is located at a fishing port which is far from the city centre of Nagasaki, but still accessible by bus. If you’re looking forward to see the country side of Japan this would be a good choice. However, there aren’t that many things to do in the vicinity. Cleanliness is well kept in general but some facilities look old and dated. We saw two big spiders and it was terrifying.

Great place to stay if you have a car or willing to travel far ”
The place was located in a peaceful neighborhood far from the city center. The whole hotel gives a cozy feeling with cute decorations. The host was very responsive and helpful as well. However, the place is very far from Nagasaki station. It takes around 40 minutes to travel by bus from Nagasaki station and another 10 minutes to walk from the bus station to the hotel. So I would highly recommend you to come only if you have a car. The room was small just enough to put 2 beds and 2 big luggage in. Partitions between rooms are so thin that people next door are likely to hear what you say even at your lowest voice. Therefore it would be a big problem for light sleepers. They also have a ofuro (Japanese common bath) but it was very small and the water was not hot enough. In conclusion, I think it could be a great place to stay if you are not too difficult with room quality and are willing to sit on bus for a long time to get to the place.

Hotel by the sea”
The hotel is located just by the sea and we got nice sea view from our room as well as the common bath room. Bath timing is restricted to morning and evening only which we didn't like.

Beautiful seaview”
Away from Nagasaki town about 15minits with widing road at small fishing village. Can view the sunrise at the Seaview room without go to main road. Breakfast very nice and it's worth to add in to your room.

Staff not very helpful”
The location is beautiful but far from the center of Nagasaki. I was a little disappointed in the cancelling policy which wasn't very transparent. Since there was a typhoon approaching, I wanted to stay only 2 days instead of 3, but it was not possible to shorten the stay and I had to pay for all days. Also, the guesthouse provides towels only for an additional fee which I found uncommon for Japanese standards.

difficult to find”
the tel number was not recognized by the GPS.. so had a hard time looking for the location. Onsen was bad.. carpet was wet and place not well maintained. It was raining and we could hear the rain water dripping outside the room window. only saving grace is the excellent sea view from the room.

If you are a fist time visiter in Nagasaki, think about reservation this hotel, because this hotel is far from downtown, but this hotel is nearby ocean, (if you like sea, you have a good chance for reserving this hotel. but I was a little bit tired, because this is far from downtown.
