Room smaller than expectation but luckily we can use the dining corner at night and free washing machine and fully cleaned bathroom. Quite satisfied to the facilities and old building designed, while price are reasonable, recommended to budget travelers!

I love the ambience of this traditional Japanese accommodation. The place is very clean. Enjoyed the restaurant as well. The place is a little difficult to find. Hope you will place obvious signage to easily locate your hotel.

Lovely old Japanese restaurant but refurbished. Not the most convenient location, both outside the park and away from centre. Also checkin could be streamlined - first needed to fill in a form with all our passport information, then later they photocopied our passports.

The place is very cozy and quite. You can enjoy staying in a old factory which is a special experience. The food is very good, however the quantity is not enough.

This place is beautiful. We stayed in one of the private rooms with shared bath. Rooms are small but comfortable. There are plenty of spaces in the Hostel to hang out, eat, chat and meet other guests. The location is a bit of a walk from the tourist sights but the Naramachi area is full of small shops and cafes to explore.

The building is 160 years old, nice and beautiful. facilities are brand new. They also have a nice restaurant and bar on site. I had a daily set meal. There was a main with some side dishes, rice and soup. was so good. Just sleep? What a waste! Go to the bar!
