It's perfect ”
The staff were brilliant! They are so sweet! Normally we can't do a last minutes cancellation but we can with Nikko Senhime Monogatari. I booked for 2 rooms with 4 people and a child but at the last minutes 2 people and a child were cancelled. They let us cancel their reservation to the rooms and dinner/breakfast prices with agoda so that I can get some of it back. I love the onsen, I just love everything about this hotel and I highly recommend. I really did have a wonderful experience staying at the hotel and would definitely comes back here again.

We lived in a big Japanese Style room with good view from the window...the mountain and the water flow, the hotel located near Shinkyu Bridge, just a few minutes walk. You can come to hotel by either hotel transfer or public bus by using Nikko all area pass. Not bad

I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Nikko Senhime Monogatari. We got in late and yet the hotel was very kind to provide us with late dinner (excellent quality Japanese food), in the comfort of our own room. The room itself was very comfortable, spacious and beautifully decorated according to Japanese taste. In the morning we had a fantastic breakfast, again Japanese style and served directly to our room. After breakfast we enjoyed ourselves in the hotel Onsen and exploring the souvenir shop, all that dressed in local kimono attire. Overall a great experience and supported by the superb courtesy and kindness of the hotel staff.

If you enjoy traditional japanese rooms, don't miss this one. Friendly staff and fabulous facilities. But don't even think about it if you are traveling with limited budget.
