Great location, just love being in downtown Wellington. booked a room for myself which was a very good decision as I was there for a funeral also meant that I could have peace and quiet when I wanted too. breakfast was pancakes and included in the room rate which was a great idea. Very clean and fresh. looks like it had a tidy up. last stayed there 4 years ago so much better this time.

Great pancakes in the morning, the place is really clean and the atmosphere is amazing. Cheap drinks in blend and amazing tournament of beerpong with great prizes. The receptions.. Lissita had great taste of music with the check in.

The staff are really welcoming. There’s loads on offer there especially the free pancakes for breakfast. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Blend bar next door is excellent- we had two steaks for $30 and they were delicious. Totally recommend Nomads Wellington.

Best hostel I’ve stayed at. Felt very private with the curtains in the dorms and I had a great nights sleep. It was very sociable and easy to meet people. The kitchen and bathroom facilities were also luxurious.

Friendly staff, organized cleaning and nice location”
I quite impress with the manager and reception team, always be helpful. They also organize and take action quickly for every thing. There are some woofing staffs that clean the hostel all day, which make the facilities cleaned. The hostel is very well, suitable location in Welly CBD. You can walk to Cuba street which has shops, bars, restaurants and cafes. I recommend people to stay here for budget, and they also have a free dinner everyday around 5-6pm at the bar next door.

One of the top hostel i have stayed during 6 weeks traveling in NZ. 4 peoples dorm with attached bathroom, enough space with big window, very clean. Kitchen is small, especially at the peak time, it wasn't enough. Super close to i-site and Cuba street. And free breakfast and dinner was big bonus. All the staffs are friendly, and willing to help, thanks a lot!

Good place at a great price but the housekeeping isn't very good”
The Nomads is located in the heart of Wellington and offers make-your-own pancakes for breakfast plus a free dinner each evening in the bar next door, Blend. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful but the housekeepers were terrible. Everyday they did something wrong -- left dirty towels, didn't empty the rubbish bin, didn't replace the coffee/tea, didn't make the beds, didn't replace the toilet paper. I had to ask for more towels and coffee at the front desk several times and I stayed there for a week. The location was great for a traveler with no vehicle as everything is within walking distance. The beds were very comfortable and soft but the room was rather cold however I was given a space heater to warm it up.

Great pancakes for breakfast and easy meal at end of day, both free. Also tea and coffee. Cosy environment. Water very slow draining in the shower was a bit of a nuisance. Staff friendly and welcoming.

Great place to go if you need a place at a great location that won’t break the bank. It was clean and staff were friendly. Only downside is it’s next door to the pub so you might struggle to sleep when there’s loud music and at the time we were there things were getting painted in the courtyard so had this strong smell of paint wafting through the room

The rooms, bathroom, kitchen is good, comfortable and works well. The cons are there is no free internet or poor free internet, bar close (I could sleep well but it's noisy) and it was written 'free breakfast' after level 2 announcement but there's no breakfast, as they said 'because of level 2'.

It was a nice hostel, but I stayed there for two nights, and on the second night I came back to find my towels and slippers on the floor, all my toiletries gone, and my bed had been changed, and no one had told me who had done it, which was an unpleasant experience.

We are sorry to hear though that you have lost some of your belongings. After investigating this further with out staff members we couldn't find any of your lost items. Whenever things are left behind in a room, housekeeping brings everything to reception, where we store it in our lost and found for at least two weeks. After having again a look through we couldn't find anything. If you want to discuss this further, feel free to contact us.
